PeaceOnThisEarth: Among AJ's shows, "Listening Post" program usually appears to be the most biased reporting because they normally report on "other" outlet medias. More of a watch dog on what everyone else is doing and we all know how skewed the corporate journalism is.

True but that shouldnt undermine what their advancing..and that is the truth about what really is transpiring in Iraq on a daily basis..and reporting on "other" outlet medias is not being biased rather its being critical

AFlintoff101: Right, but they could have also cover the left wing inclined reporters such as Fox News so hear their side of story. Which is obvious what they report but then again, taking on every angel is what true journalism is about.

I used to believe AlJazeera was unbiased, is this the beginning of AJshowing their true colours? This is an EXTREMLY biased commentary, not an unbiased report. There ae no opposing opinions here, no debate.

Even supposing AlJazeera were biased, and I don't think ON THE WHOLE it really is (in fact, the English channel fairly frequently hints at pro-West bias), they're one of the few large-scale options not blowing Bush. Frankly we could do with a bit of bias that isn't the otherwise exclusive bias.

jammoexii ....On the whole, I agree AJ is not completly biased. There is a problem with this particular commentary though, it is lopsided just like Olberman AND O'Rilley, whom are both jack asses. News should not pick sides, it should be unbiased, can this really be considered unbiased.

i dont understand how you can call this lopsided. it was simply an overview of media coverage of the petraeus report and covered various US news outlets; along with some arabs ones. the commentary was simply to introduce the various information outlets and compare coverage with facts on the ground. there was no opinion from the commentary, only a survey of coverage.

if u want biased media reporting chek out FOX, its obvious they get funding directly frm bushs pocket, and its not biased when somting is so evident clear, on how wrong the Iraq war is.
