Listen I don't mean any disrespect, but I have been telling people for over a year that the earth has been tilting and has absolutlely nothing to do with a pole shift! But nobody seems to want to listen. I have been tracking the sunset and sunrise for over two years you can do this yourself and you will see what I am saying is true. The poles are not shifting the magnetic field is fluxuating do to the wobble of the earth caused by the moon and magnified by the new degree of tilt.

well your compass wont be wrong your map will be however.You will need a map with a new declination diagram.You compass will always poit to the north pole and if it has move then the declination wich is the relationship. between magnetic north and true north on a map.So you will have to have a new map with the right declination.

True north and magnetic north, if dead reckoning from a map have always had a variation that one has to figure in as it changes if you are moving east or west, On nautical charts the variation is always printed on the map There going to have to re-print maps every six months. As far as going into the woods the compass just serves as a reference point. In other words, if you leave a road and go in one direction, just reverse those bearings to return to the point of entry.

U can pray. And if you're not into praying, just keep a LEVEL HEAD ALWAYS =). Stock up like you have been, be prepared for various scenarios. But, my own personal belief is that if something is meant to be, whether I wish it or not, it'll be.
