How do you get that guitar sound? What equipment besides the Fender Stratocaster (which amp, effects,...)?

I use an old Digitech RP7, and my amp was built by me... nothing special... stereo transistor amp, without preamp; I use my RP7 as preamp. My guitar is a Fender MK signature.

I think that one of the most important effects, is the compressor, specially when you play with your fingers.

Another perfect cover from the Dire Straits! May i ask wich amps you guys are using?

Thank you "DonTh". My amp was an old Spanish amp (over 40 years old), founded in the garbage, with valves, and his sound was really bad... and this amp was very dangerous!!!, because had an electric problem, and gives to me some electric shocks when I played my guitar... ;-D .

But I liked his vintage look, and then I decided to quit all circuits and speakers. Like an experiment, I bought a new stereo transistor circuit amp, and two speakers, all for less than 180 euros!! ...Cheap... And it sounds very well, because I use too a Digitech RP7 processor as a preamp

As I am sure you agree, MK is the MAN, but you certainly do him proud with your renditions. Efectivamente, para este tema, y para "Sultans" por ejemplo, uso la segunda posición. En cambio en "Going Home", la 2ª y la cuarta tras la intro, y en "Brothers in arms" la 5ª eliminando tono.

No uso Tube Screamer. Para todos los temas, uso una pedalera multiefectos Digitech RP7.

En cuanto a visitar Miami, cuando tú quieras, si nos llevas para allá, encantados... ;-)
