  • Cool, now I know how to tie it Hellsing-style.

By the way, it's called a 'cravat'.

  • OMG You just saved my Integra costume!! I almost figured it out. I originally tried doing it like an normal tie but couldn't figure out the loops. Thanks so much!

  • how wide is the material?

  • what is this knot/ tie type called?

  • i used 2.5 inch wide red ribbon made of polyester. This video really helped though. Thanks! :)

  • How to make the tie itself is the question?

  • did you figure our how to dio this on your own or is there a name for the knot?

  • WERE DO U GET ALUCARD OR SERAS COSPLAY COSTUMES AT I WANT TO COSPLAY D:> oh yeah or integra cosplay

  • this is amaizing!

  • Good job! I had no idea it was even possible to actually tie it properly.

  • graciassss (:

  • Thanks sooo much! I cosplayed Integra a few weeks back and I just had this big nasty looking bow that kept coming undone. I tried this out a moment ago, and it totally works (I can NEVER tie ties, but this was really easy) Now I know what to do for Alucard and Integra in the future. Once again, thanks!

  • thank you, i am going to cosplay as Alucard to my anime club...... now all i need is the hat.........

  • Thank you so much! I'm cosplaying Integra, and I couldn't figure it out . XP

  • Genious, we bought the outfit but the tie was the only thing we weren't happy with, at least now we can fix it :D

PPS 99 Red Balloons in the Background? I like you even more!!

  • o thanks thank XD

  • ummm,,,, dumb question were did you get the tie from T.T i've been looking everywhere!

  • I made it. Its 8ft long.

  • How wide should it be to get the big bow?

  • how long should the red thing be? about a yard or half?

  • This tie when finished should be roughly 7 to 8 feet long. So about 2 2/3 yrd.

  • yeah i'm a cosplayer and i really needed this so it's good to make these vids

  • thanks! this might help me if i make alucard's costume... did you make all the parts of his costume? if you did, how it took from you? (i would like to make the costume, but i don't know how...) sorry, if you don't understand what i write...

  • omg it worked and i did it my self im so happy and proud of my self thank for making the video will come in handy very soon

  • thank god i skipped to the end of the video to see what it would look like before i tried it out

  • I went to a con last month and really must thank the two of you again; I used this method to tie the cravat for my Integra cosplay. It not only worked, but looked awesome. It turned my cravat from an embarrassment to a note of pride.

  • you people rock! ^^

  • lol

  • Cool thanks for the vid. of you watch my Anime Wasabi slideshow you can see I did not have it tied right

  • X] this is so amazing! It's going to help so much for my Integra costume at AX

  • aaaarrgg! Yes! After looking around for a way to tie my ...tie, I find this tut^^ I just got my Integra costume in the mail and I have to wear it to a con in 2 days, this tutorial helps sooooo much <3 I had no idea on how to tie it or where to really start looking for help,

Thank you so much for the help^^

    xox

  • hey! its bjork!!

.. anyway.. cute video, also a lot usefull ^0^

  • It looks decent, but the actual knot in the manga seems more of a triangle shape than the knot shown here. Think Full Windsor plus an extra loop. And I don't imagine a rather lazy wrap-around job would stay or look balanced as you move and squelch zombie hordes. Best of luck.

  • It stayed for more than eight hours as I not only wore my costume, but was running around staffing the convention I was at.

  • Wow, my mistake, then. I'm glad someone actually posted their experience, and that this tie held up. Props.

  • where did you get the actual tie???

  • We made it. Its pricisely 8ft in leagnth. Its the only way to give it the correct look.

  • did you say 8 FEET?! wow...o_O

    what fabric did you use?

  • yes my friend.... 8 feet. And as far as the fabric goes... its just a nice cotton.

  • ok thank you very much for your help!

  • i hear 99 red balloons!!

  • *gives many luffles*

Ne ne, I don't know how you guys did it, but you have officially won the internets. All of them. Because this will make my life so much easier xD

  • lol that is one thing i did not know how to do lol now a can do my random alucard cosplay thing at school mwhahahahaha!!!

  • OMG, you have no idea what kind of agony I have gone through over not being able to make my Integra ascots pretty like this. You can be sure I will use this! Thank you!

PS: You guys are so cute, lol. And yay for Blondie in the background!

  • That's so cute! I'm going to use it to tie Walter's tie, too! Because I'm lame and still haven't figured out how to do a regular tie. O.o

  • Hey thats cool. It looks just like Alucards tie. You guys oh good...If I could cosplay I would Be Rip.

Hey and her tie is easyer cuz it just a normal tie. I just guessing I never wore a tie..lol

  • you guys are nerds XD LOL thanks Nat!
