There ARE more humane ways of killing these pigs, but there this attitude in Taiwan where they 'believe' if you stun them and then cut their throat, then you're going to end up with 'bad quality' meat.

That alone really shouldn't be a good enough justification for the cruelty and abuse imflicted on them in my opinion.

Its (this vid) a valiant effort, but convincing millions of Asians to NOT eat meat after being deprived of meat for so long is gonna be extremely difficult, Ethical Vegetarianism may be fine for westerners (Many East Asians may "fast" from meat sometimes for either health reasons or Buddhist influence) but... from what I've seen, East Asians in general seem to see animals as a) food and b) toys, and not as "soul-mates". Nice try, but sorry dude ain't gonna happen.

但是這些屠夫畢竟也是靠宰殺豬隻生活的

如果不把這些豬當成肉類處理,而是當成一般動物甚至寵物的心態去­面對他們的工作,我想很難有人可以勝任吧

但是換個角度想,若不是很多人要求要新鮮的活體豬肉

喜歡吃美味可口的豬肉(豬用電擊死亡肉質較硬)

我想採用電擊應該是大家樂意使用的方式吧

畢竟速度較快,也沒那麼累..

I do agree. There HAS to be a better way to make it painless for these dudes. I love bacon, but it is wrong to make them slowly die. Why not shoot them inthe face with a 12 gauge?
