I'm a wop and i'm proud of it.. Moved to the States from Italy 3 years ago. I'm glad so many people like our clothes and food. There's no just pizza and pasta in Italy, those are the two most famous dishes from Italy but there's much more Italian food.. Gelato is good, and tortellini con la panna are amazing for example, same with ravioli and bistecca Fiorentina etc..

This movie was seriously an abomination. They only mention the major plot point (the two leads both think the other is Italian, when neither of them actually are) only once or twice. And there was absolutely nothing Italian about it...as an Italian, I was deeply offended by the lack of references to Italians (there weren't even any stereotypes, except maybe one or two references to the mafia).

I nominate this film for worst movie of 2008.

So what? My Big Fat Greek Wedding was stereotypical, but it was damn funny. I'm Greek and I think it's hilarious. Relax, it's all for laughs.

And the reason big actors aren't in it is because it's a small budget film with a director that is just starting out his career. He's from Utah and he used to be a doctor but changed majars because he wanted to fulfill his dreams and go into movies. I know the guy, and he's awesome. RELAX! It's just a fun comedy!
