excuse the mistype - did you think that the vedic music has something common with the imdad khani gharana and the vilayat khan style? It sounds similiar sometimes...

and do you try to create a special rasa while you´re playing yaman, or is it just your own performance of that rag? you´re presenting real joy anyway.

I think that, to a Western musician, the distance between the strings and frets of the sitar seems very extreme, therefore coldfusion is referring to that extremeness with the word 'horrific'
