This is hilarious, Andrew! SO perfectly cat. Constantly harrassed by "building inspectors" during every phase of construction, and when you've finished the masterpiece, they could care less.

you're actually not supposed to let cats onto anything unfinished, or into an unfinished part of the house. they could get hurt. or worse.

@RingerFilms They can get hurt by many things, finished or unfinished. At the age ours are, they need to know their limits and exercise their climbing and jumping skills while their bones are still relatively elastic and before we let them roam the entire house. It would have been different, though, if any hammering or cutting had been involved, because that's when you can seriously injure a cat.

Don't you just love when purchasing these things the admonition, "Some assembly required". My wife and I have had cats for 25 years. We think cats make us better humans! Loved the music-mix. Very sweet post. Thank you so much for sharing your new adventure with us!!

We have two cat towers in the house and they have saved our furniture a hundred times over. And they're nowhere near as beautiful as yours is. Don't worry, the cats will give in and enjoy.
