I noticed that too, why'd they do that...? Maybe donkeys were offended by the term "jackass" just like the gays were offended by Hancocks "Homo, homo in red, norwegian homo" joke...

This movie is a rip off. It is the oldest fiction of mankind. It started in Babylon, with Nimrod, and his consort Semiramis. every religion is tied to it Zoaraster, Islam, Masonry, Hinduism, even Catholics mixed it in with the Jew's messiah. Look up Baal & Ashteroth Marduke & Istar (Easter) Venus & Mars Allah & Al Uzzah Shing Moo & Luong Jin on & on & on Its all about worshiping creatures rather then the Creator...to flatter us with vanity to obscures a right view of who is the glory YAHWEY
There are hardly any kinds of original fiction nowadays -- seriously, have you never heard of archetypes? Almost everything ties in together, and most stories are blends of various influences. Just because something combines a whole bunch of different religious ideas and philosophies doesn't make it a rip off. Just enjoy a well-created film.
Htp, It will be an interesting movie. however, one should pay particular attention to some details. 1.the name of the character(hancock which will refer to John Hancock in the mind of the audience) has nothing to do with this Afrikan/Kem Hero's character(knowing that the concept hero comes from Heru)-2 An emphasis is focused on this drunken hero (combine with several stereotypes) instead of showing clearly the hero's higher faculties related to Kem/Muur sciences & metaphysics. Enjoy the movie
