  • smooth... :-)

  • The spirits of Duane Allman and Berry Oakley live on in players like Derek Trucks and Oteil Burbridge.

  • Goldie resides in the ABB museum in Macon Ga... so it probably is Duane's old gold top Les Paul

  • and people from Australia apparently don't use apostrophes correctly....and damn right Americans put the month first to do it otherwise is not logical....at all...

  • Does anyone know if thats the Duane Allman goldtop he's using?

  • A fabulous band.....and a great song.

    Man they jam !

  • w/ sound logic like that you should be a computer (NOT). being a punk & being black are not mutually exclusive. being a punk and skillful playing are definitely not mutually exclusive. You succumb easily to stereotypes, I see, as do most of your ilk. I've seen Miles Davis more times than anyone you've ever known, love ABB, & hate that smugass trux is cashing in on the name w/ his anemic, lackluster, derivative playing. Ironic, the band is headlined by the 2 most marginal (white) musicians in it.

  • @baburjabal your so stupid, derek trucks doesnt care about any money haha, how can you love the ABB and hate Trucks? Oteil is in ABB and in this band, and if Gregg heard anything you just said he would probably never want to see your face again.

  • Rolling Stone calls the album a "masterpiece". That says it all. Rolling Stone is a f*cking masterpiece, of total, stinking crap. And for $20 they'll suck trux.

  • Hi.

Is possible to get this concert anywhere on the Internet?

    It would be really great.

    Thanks for answer. :)

  • i was at this show, they said that this les paul was duane allman's

  • i just saw tedeschi trucks tonight. Most incredible concert experience ive ever had. Susan gave me her guitar pick and I got Derek's autograph!!

  • Oh, and the fact that they use VEVO to promote themselves on youtube says it all... LAME!

  • This would be a good band if they got rid of lousy Tedeschi and smug Trucks. As it is it's just more derivative "white" blues, uninspired, repetitive, boring, and not particularly well performed. Do yourself a favor, avoid the shows and the albums.

  • @baburjabal Haters gonna hate

  • @SIZZLEBIZZLE1982 you think, now? wow, yer damn deep, and lovers gonna love, you think? Well I do so love my Buddy Guy, my Junior Wells, my Big Maceo, my Muddy Waters, my Howlin' Wolf, and so many others who are the real thing, and yes, I cannot stand these roll 'em outta the factory boring white boy blues bands. Only reason he's promoted is 'cause he's Butch Trucks nephew, plain 'n simple.

  • @baburjabal 3 words, and I get a paragraph haha. My advice, watch videos you like, that's what I do. Your comments will be spammed anyways, no need to hate, but it's cool. Enjoy hating. Peace.

  • @SIZZLEBIZZLE1982 sigh, u passive aggressive hypocrite hippies always use that cheap trick, label someone a "hater" cause they got a dif'rent opinion. hey cheeseball, how u discover new things if you only stick w/ what you already like? ur a damn fool, keep ur advice. U just can't handle the truth that u just buy into the corporate promotion machine, Vevo Man. Dats ok, I'd rather be 1 of 20 who get it @ a Buddy Guy show than 1 of 20000 who'll never get it @ a f*k derek trucks show.

  • It's much easier to just thumbs down the video, not go on some asinine rant. But if this is how you get your jollys man, enjoy. i hate music snobs. I used to be one until i realized how much of a prick you come off as. I'm done, please feel free to rant some more about sell-outs and flexing your internet muscles. I'm gonna go listen to some meshuggah and relax.

  • @SIZZLEBIZZLE1982 I'm not about easy, I like baiting hippy-crites and then watching them crumble into the a**holes they really are. So far you have labeled me a "hater" a "prick", a "snob", a "ranter", just because I don't like dereck trucks, because I have a different opinion. If everybody who comments likes dt then it's ok, otherwise you're a snob, a ranter, a hater. Yeah, Stalin and Hitler used that technique to great effect. Nazi Hippy-crite.

  • @baburjabal You are racist as hell. The Allman Brothers, Derek Trucks Band, And Tedeschi Trucks Band all have great black musicians. They aren't a "roll em outta the factory white boy blues bland" like you said. The Tedeschi Trucks Band and Derek Trucks Band will both go down as 2 of the greatest bands of all time. Face it.

  • @baburjabal youtube.com/watch?v=emyt-agLE_s

Seems buddy guy uses vevo as well, STFU u asshole. All music is great and interesting. Quit being a music snob.

  • @baburjabal Dumb

  • Comment removed

  • @baburjabal No its because he can f@3king play are you deaf.

  • @baburjabal but you can't deny Trucks is an awesome player, just cos he ain't lived Muddy's blues, or junior wells. Bet they couldn't play the jazz that trucks can, and every one of those muscians are amazing. the fuck man, you racist or somethin man?

  • @Talesofspace8 can & do deny trux is "awesome" (why do hippies always use that word?). In some ways he's technically proficient, but he's also uninspired, boring and redundant. Tedeschi is a f*cking train wreck, absolutely horrible. Instead of well thought rebuttals I get label after label thrown at me. shows you what tedeschi-trux hippie dippie fans are really all about. get your face out of the bong long enough to realize old school punks love nothing more than hate mail from dumbass hippies

  • @baburjabal ha naw i just thought you might of been an old black dude who didn't like them white boy guitarists. Ah well, now i know your a punk i know you won't appriciate skillfull music. I guess your not a fan of the allman brothers, or miles davis then?

  • saw them in stuttgart, great concert but lousy sound mix. whoever they hired should be fired.

  • Buy your tixs folks. Saw them Pitts Blues Fest saturday. Not only can DT and Susan get it done this band is GREAT. One of the best shows I've seen.

  • Altogether now : "Woah... Wo-awoah... Can you feel it? Bound for Glory. Can you feel it? Glory Bound. Can you feel it? Bound for Glo-oor-y... ?"

    Lol@me. Fab. :-)

  • (Actually, I sang this as loud as Susan in Paris last week. Very badly, but just as loud!)

  • play in Nola... Trucks n the Bros at fest 6 hundo n change days back aint enough.... need that soul serenade slide

  • Who cares if it was in the US or not? A non-American isn't gonna change how they write dates. And @halfirishhalfcool, he can't save the Euro trashy attitude because he's Australian. That's not in Europe in case you weren't aware.

Most important fact is that Derek and Susan (and the rest of the band) are fricking awesome. Just got back from seeing them in London. 30/06/2011

  • Thank you so much for uploading this!! Getting ready for August 20 in Maryland

  • @ryanmooney, if you put Duane Allman and Berry Oakley in the title and description, you may get more hits...

  • It is Duane's 1957 Les Paul Goldtop, AND Oteil is playing Berry Oakley's 1962/66 hybrid "Tractor" bass! I know this, because I was the one who delivered them for the night.

  • Playing Duane's goldtop?

  • Absolutely wonderful, I have no words.

  • Derek's playing a Les Paul for once...a '57 or so goldtop even.

  • @guitarrebel22 - I believe that's Duane Allman's goldtop. They were all taking turns playing it during the Allman Brothers 2011 run at The Beacon Theater in March. I think you can tell it's Duane's because it doesn't have a pick guard.

  • @Diablagato It may be...I knew that Derek and Warren played it at the Beacon but I thought after that it went to the Big House Museum in Macon, GA. I hope Gibson does a custom shop replica of it. The Duane Allman tobacco burst, Warren Haynes "inspired by..", and Gary Rossington honey burst Les Pauls are all on my guitar wish list already.

  • If the clip WAS from the future, I'd be purchasing my tickets! "For August 4th, 2011 please..."

  • Can't wait to see them live in Bonn, Germany. The last time I wrote something like this, was about Sheryl Crow in Cologne. Back then that Show was cancelled. Tedeschi/Trucks have to break the curse, I guess...

  • @ RYAN--->>GREAT QUALITY RECORDING!!!!....THANKS!!!!

F.Y.I.---MY PREVIOUS COMMENT WAS MEANT 4 "THE AUSSIE"!!!!

  • I caught them last night in Seattle -- terrific show. Derek picked out the rest of "Mercedes Benz" during his intro to this one!

  • 08.04.11, a show from the future!

  • @brandeec Yeah, bizarre isn't it? Now, just how bizarre would 18.04.11 been? A show from fictional time, wow ... or just the European (and to me, only logical) order to give dates: Day-Month-Year, going from specific to less specific units ... :-D

  • @brandeec only American's would write 04.08.11, i'm from Australia

  • @ryanmooney92 YEAH....THEY F'D UP!!!....WE'RE ALL HUMAN, REGARDLESS OF WHERE WE LIVE IN THE WORLD!!!!......IT'S ABOUT "THE MUSIC", DUDE!!!

  • @ryanmooney92 But the show was in Atlanta, so therefore, do as the Atlantans do.

  • @ryanmooney92 actually Canadians use both ways. The international method of writing the date is Year/Month/Day
