firstly i will say tht this is a wonderful invention.i ,vent seen this before
i,ve been jamming my carrier bags in my cupboard.some time behind or over d cupboard n it feel so bad when some one opens my cupboard n find shopping bags in it.Now these bags can be kept in a nice manner wounderful
The best thing is this bin is designed in such a way tht it suits all types of bags n d use of handle can help out by facing the prob tht is faced when d bag falls in side d bin
A superb idea, it makes you wonder why such an idea has never been produced, especially considering supermarket carrier bags are in abundance; also as supermarkets are starting to charge for their bags, it now makes a more feasible purchase. This bin also clearly has the main advantages of the bag being held in place by the handles, to keep the bag open to except refuse even when nearly full, and the bag storage area - a self contained system. A very well thought out idea, through and through.
hi im a old man and this bin in just what im looking for. when i go shoping i come home with lots of bags and what do you do with them in the bin. with this bin the bags go in the bin and it will save you geting out the black bags what a fantastic idea from a old man g.a.s.
What a fab idea! I've used carrier bags in your standard kitchen bin for years and always had the annoying problem of the bag not staying in place - to be able to secure the handles of the bag in the way the Eco bin does is excellent! Also the compact design, coupled with the storage solution in the base of the bin is really useful. I'm all for recycling my old carrier bags in an environmentally friendly way, can you tell me when this will be available to buy?
Excellent quality - ideal design for todays kitchens, minimalist modern appearance and an essential addition to any home. Also saves on return trips to Tescos as there is no need to recycle via supermarkets. Also prevent build-up of all those bags that end up under the sink or in kitchen cabinets....
Good idea for a bin. Ideal for Caravans. Not really an ECObin though. I recycle my carriers at Tesco, and use re-usable bags from most supermarkets that a replaced free of charge. I also have a number of canvas bags that you can buy for just 50p. All this bin would encourage people to do is fill carrier bags with waste and then be sent to landfill where they would take forever to decompose. Good idea, but not Eco friendly.
Great idea by some one who,s priority is to recycle, and to free up kitchen cupboard space,(i,ve been jamming carrier bags in my cupboard for years) every kitchen should have one!
What a fantastic idea! I really want one of these bins. I just use a carrier bag for a bin and this would more attractive in my kitchen. It should definitely be manufactured. A brilliant invention.
hallelujah !!! what a wonderful invention ive been looking for a waste bin like this for ages.
ive been fed up going around all the same diy stores and seeing all the same crap ideas from brabantia addis etc that dont work and theres nothing worse than the bag falling inside and all the sunday dinner going everywhere !!! and by the way who the f*** is james dyson.
anybody out there know where i can purchase one of these i,d pay £25 all day long for one of these.
I agree with the comments posted by Rhian and would like to add that the storage compartment for the carrier bags is a nice little touch. An addition of somewhere to put a fragrance or maybe something that sprayed a small amount of scent everytime the bin lid opened could enhance this product even further. Is the unit completely waterproof ? Could anyone let me know what the cost would be.
What a fantastic idea ! this is a product that should have been produced long ago. When i think of all the carrier bags that i have put in the rubbish which should have been put to good use. Now they can be used in an eco friendly way. I do try to recycle as much as possible and this will help to clear my conscience a little bit more. Can anybody tell me where I might be able to purchase this bin? is it on sale yet? and if not why not? I think I would prefer the plastic type.

It does make sense. Just wonder whether it is complicated for the manufacture.
