Israel does well economically because of American economic aid which is, I think, hundreds of dollars per Israeli citizen per year. Egypt is stagnant because of dictatorship and corruption which would not be possible without American patronage.

Muslims should not make excuses for not being the best it is possible to be. We have to look to ourselves to solve our problems. Likewise, the West should also not make excuses and shove the responsibility outwards. It's so easy, for everyone, to throw the blame away and not take a real look inward.

American aid isn't intentional upon economic support. The support often delivered is in the form of military arms which are sold to Israel, not just given to them. In return, Israel tinkers with these American products and improves them and then that re-delivered back into America for a price.

The f-16 is a good example of this. An Airplane that was bought into Israel from American War manufacturers, then it was improved sold back to American War Manufacturers and then used by the USAF.

When America gives aid to a country, it expect something in return or it will simply do so to make it self look good.

There is nothing America will gain by just giving Israel its support, unless it is in the form of superior and improved war technology. Which is what Israel does for the United States.

Islam is their #1 problem. Not lack of democracy. Individual muslims can be smart and decent people. But islam the religion is too tyranical, barabric and backwards and creates millions upon millions of deranged imperialist cultists.

You cannot have an effective government, whether it be a democracy without an effective form of secularism.

German Democracy ultimately failed because it harbored non-secular ideas and activities.

Nazi Germany was not a true secular state. Certainly they did have a program encompassing much secular idealism, which ultimately was left in the hands of private entrepreneurs. But... if they were not so content in involving themselves into religion, they would have prosper better.

This gentleman understands the problem. Maybe, just maybe some Arab country will adopt democracy and over through their thug, corrupt dictators. America and Israel are NOT the real problem.
