Does anyone have any ideas as to what this song is about? to me its like a song about a gay couple and how they have to question themselves as to why they are doing what they are because they have been told and told again that it is wrong. Regardless, its a great fucking song. I love Cursive
@MrNapcake Its about a local catholic priest in a community, who spend his life building a rep for the church. An former student of his returns, whos a dude, and they fall for each other. The student confides that hes gay to the priest, but only talks of it when hes drunk. So theyre talking, shit happeneds, they wake up the next day to the bells into steeples and run off ashamed and affraid. The priest is afreaid hell never live it down, because he knows its wrong, because hes told its wrong.
