@TheHeadlessOne Sorry for disappointing you. I truly feel TOR is a game for the ages. I'm not trying to get a rise out of people, I'm just trying to stick up for the game I love. I am glad they didn't make KOTOR 3 because as a Star Wars fan I wouldn't want just another Star Wars game instead of a huge game like TOR. Just posting my opinion on this TOR video.

If you listen to all his speeches you'll know why he looks like a homeless bum, Revan has lost it. Even before the Emperor kicked his butt he wasn't doing too good, being imprisoned in solitary confinement for years. Ultimately what you're fighting here is a shell of a man, though still very very dangerous.

The Jedi Knight storyline has the most references and storyline tie-ins to KOTOR 1 and 2, and expands on the ending of KOTOR 2 and Drew Karpashyn's Revan novel. The Jedi Knight player character in SWTOR is referred to in the novel; and you get one of the characters from it as a companion. If you read the book, you'll see why the JK storyline is KOTOR 3. And I have to say I like it so much better than KOTOR 2 :)

@zachgagnon Why? If there will be a KotOR 3, your character from KotOR 2, Meetra Surik, is destined to be killed by the Emperor and Revan will be trapped by him for the next 300 years. What's fun in that? You play the game knowing that you'll lose at the end of it, either playing as Meetra or Revan...

@royalsunce Actually you know how he mentions that the Emperor didn't know about the Foundry? He did. He let Revans security lower so that he could get out and lead him to it. And on the Empire side you confront him in the Foundry. So in all actuality, the Republic quest was first(in a time line) and the Empire one took place after. So "Cannonly" Raven was defeated by the Empire.

Yes you weaken him and yes you see a bright flash of light go off, which hey most sith go boom in a ball of light. but it was a ability to bend time and space and teleport himself. i dont remember what it was but his ass teleported to safety. thats why on the empire side he talks for the last 10 seconds of the fight.

@dondon5011 your right ;] revan comes back later. bioware said they are keeping his fate open. he was weakened from his prison anyway. im sure revan has more to do with why the republic ends up winning lol + he makes the teachings that bane uses to make the rule of 2.... we have not seen the last of revan my friend.

@kimgoodwin1 On the issue of Revan's death, you have to realize that even in fictional worlds, especially Star Wars, everyone eventually dies. More over, character death is necessary for plot development. I personally liked Soap from the MW games, but am I pissed that he died in MW3? No. Because his death suited the story. I also liked Revan, and now I regard him to be one of the best EU characters, but having him being defeated by the Empire player characters is not destroying....

@kimgoodwin1 .....his character, its giving he his due and making him into a big deal and a memorable part of the story. The Empire characters are not nobodies (The Emperor's Wrath, Darth Nox..etc) and one day will be as legendary in Star Wars EU as Revan is. But, to be honest, wither he comes back as a Force Ghost or something else, I really don't think we have seen the last of Revan, so there is no reason to get so pissed off about it.

Besides I know this isn't the last we will see Revan, Bioware would'nt do that to one of their most beloved characters, and I bet one of the last instances/ add-on's they will probly bring Revan back. @kimgoodwin1 Actually Bioware did do that to a beloved character. However they changed it because they thought if they had the chance they would like to add Revan in later and because of fan backlash.
