They are hand pans from Switzerland (they dont make them anymore, very rare, almost impossible to get) ... never call it a hang drum :)

It's almost like an inverted steel drum, but I cant fathom how it actually works. Brilliant sound to it though, do you know what its called?

@IW1911 no idea. i was surprised myseft. every time i travel i found out that street musicians invent new instruments. this one i've never seen before
