  • Pretty cool guys, Congratulations!

  • woot. love to watch ice hockey.. but its 2009.. hmm

  • That was pretty awesome! Subbed :)

  • SIK!!

  • does any one know a store in america that has a website where i can get NCAA hockey jerseys from? i live in canada and no one here sells NCAA jerseys and i'd like to add one or two to my collection of jerseys

  • miami was lucky they didn't get a slashing penalty for that chop after the tying goal

  • They nearly did it to my Huskies last Sunday!!!!

  • i can't stand miami of ohio....but i can't help but feel terrible for them here. still a little funny though

  • Actually the game was a bore until the final minute. Miami beat Boston up and down the ice for 59 minutes. If Shilling had of fired the puck instead of dickin' with it Miami probably closes it out. I've never seen a team as lucky as BU. Out played, out matched, and still came away with the win. Hell, Vermont should have beat them on Thursday!

  • great call by jack parker to pull the goalie god knows I wouldn't of

  • This is what hockey is all about

  • amazing offensive pressure

  • this is sick. although white gloves are pretty fuckin dusty

  • i was at this game

  • @DirtyHarrysMagnum yah suckin my dirty DICK

  • Love college hockey!

  • ya but guess wat bc win this year

  • LOL 7:45, the reaction of the bench is the best. Obviously, the players went wild, but look at the two assistant coaches, especially the one on the left in the dark suit, he looks so relieved.

  • Forget NCAA Championships, this is one of the greatest hockey games ever, period.

  • All Miami had to do was gain the redline, they failed

  • @SUNSNARE06 you bet your fucking ass they failed

  • Absolutely unbelievable. This year's tournament starts on the 26th, let's hope it's just as good through and through. Can't wait.

  • Nice Video, this was a nice championship game, I enjoyed watching it.

  • i loved being able to hear gary thorne again.

  • Anyone who enjoyed this game would appreciate the book "Burn the Boats" by Scott Weighart. Amazing story of the team's journey from the end of the 2007-2008 season all the way to the parade in April of '09. Great book and a great story.

  • bought the book... love it..

  • whos the miami goalie?

  • im from boston and bu is my favorite team.i admit il couldnt watch but when bu mad it 3-2, then 3-3 u jumped so high of my couch

  • haha i nearly killed the guy sitting next to me...i was there, i still cant believe i was able to witness it

  • at 2:22 I was balling my eyes out.

  • i watched this and i was stunned. it wasn't the goalies fault, he didn't get any defense to help him!

  • 5:05 gives me goosebumps every time

    GO BU

  • ...gilroy =D

  • I dropped my mouth when I was watching this on TV and was so mad at Miami.

  • Go Miami has lost some heartbreakers to Boston teams.. BC 3 TIMES IN A ROW AND NOW BU

  • I felt so bad for there Goalie

  • The Immaculate Deflection!!!!!!!!! There was no stopping this team. The PERFECT year! BU'69

  • This was the greatest NCAA Division One Hockey championship EVER. BU, '77.

  • Best college hockey match I've ever seen. Go BU!

  • One of the greatest moments in sports history, outstanding.

    -From A.R.M.A.N

  • Why isn't this nominated for an ESPY?

  • SERIOUSLY! It needs to be!

  • thank you for posting the original video and not adding your own soundtrack!!

  • A thousand times THIS! I fucking hate it when people ruin a video - especially when it is the lone one available - with some goddamn Korn in the background.

  • My husband and I were at the Verizon Center for both the semis and the finals. We graduated from the Law School in '79 and watched BU win the NCAA title in 1978 (with some of the guys who went on to play on the "Miracle on Ice" Olympic team.) This win was truly overwhelming. Thirty years of following BU hockey and this was the best. We all saw one of the greatest college hockey games ever played that night. Yes, a sports classic.

  • I absolutely agree. College sports history.

  • i wish miami would have 1

  • does anyone else notice the slash in front of the net after bu scores to tie it?

  • haha me...you notice how brandon yip smacks the goalie around after the first goal haha :) i love yip

  • Terriers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was uncalled for, dude.

  • This game was outstanding.

  • It's been over a month, and this still has me in awe. Awesome game.

  • Choke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would never say that Miami choked because that takes away from BU's top-notch effort to tie the game up.

  • unbelievable comback by BU, and I'm a Miami fan.

  • This game was outstanding.

  • Let's go Boston!

  • I was just in Boston last week for the first time, awesome city. Everyone was still talking about this game like it happened 5 minutes ago. I wish I was watching their whole season like my buddies at BU

  • Yeah, I'm still in awe of the whole thing. It just doesn't register in my brain even after 2 weeks. And I was there to experience it in person. People I know who hate hockey, were pretty much crying tears of joy at seeing this game for the ages. A whole bunch of new hockey fans were created that night, because they saw the ultimate in dramatics.

  • I was there too dude and same thing i stillll cant believe they pulled it off...i was just thinking that last 2 minutes how bad the drive home to boston was gonna suck then they pulled it off haha.

  • @sc083127 That is, folks who don't go to Harvard, BC, or Northeastern ;)

  • I love BU but they knew they wre very lucky Miami gave them a chance to do But well deserved for BU who have suffered so many tragedies in their history, ie. Harry Agganis, dies at 26, one of greatest football talents of fifties, played for Sox, Kevin Mutch BU player died young, Travis Roy paralyized during game, Mike Bavis murdered aboard Flight American Airlines crashed into Twin Towers 9/11. Poetic justice, and true BU never give up spirit, we hail you loud and true BU hockey squad 2009!

  • i must say, my terriers got lucky on that save by millan after they tied it. the puck's behind him and a miami guy got his stick in there. if the miami guy could have moved his stick a little, BU's goose is cooked. great win!

  • great WIN

  • when gilroy made the pass to bonino I knew it was in he never misses chances

  • When the bulldogs scored with under a minute left that was better than this cuz the bulldogs scored the tying goal wit 0.8 tenths of a second left! Miami blew it they would have won if they just iced and controled the puck in their own zone

  • wrong wrong wrong...Scoring 2 with less than a minute is far more impressive than scoring 1 with very; little time less...it shows more skill and the will not to give up...scoring 1 goal with .8 is like scoring any other goal only there happend ot be a small amount of time left

  • the bulldogs scored with 57.6 left and that made it 3-4 and then they scored with 0.8 tenths of a secon d left that was way better than Boston scoring at the end

  • if you dont realize the importance of a national championship game trumps that of a regional semifinal, you're a fool.

  • i bet i know more about hockey than you

  • i bet you think you think you're the coolest person in the world because you flex your internet muscle.

  • uh no what are you talking about i prob. no more about hockey cuz i am from minnesota the state of HOCKEY

  • you also probably look at yourself in the mirror in the morning and convince yourself of how cool you are.

  • Mass IS better than Mn at hockey and this coming from a Canuck!! I don't care about your stupid HS bullshit as far as nhl talent MA has produced better players over the years than Mn hands down. Guys like Roenick, Tkachuk, Amonte, Barrasso, Guerin are dynamic players. Nobody from Minny compares to those guys except maybe Broten and Housley.

  • what are you talking about?

  • just because your from minnesota doest mean you KNOW more about hockey than someone else you retard

  • That's just it. They couldn't clear the zone. They were outnumbered by the extra attacker, and though they were obviously still playing hard they didn't like as if they had as much energy as they did earlier in the 3rd. They were skating more slowly. They physically dominated the 2nd and 3rd periods, but I think all that effort took something out of them for the final minutes. My guys were VERY fortunate to be able to do something with it.

  • No way dude. Doesn't matter when in the last minute you score the goal. Whether you score the last goal with 17 sec left or 0.8 sec left doesn't really matter. Add in the fact that it was in the national championship game, and that increases the dramatics tenfold. The Duluth game doesn't even compare.

  • Lol, ah, ok. And I thought we were having a serious discussion about this :)

  • This dak kid is impressively witty. Not to mention that s/he's a BU fan, so s/he's that much cooler.

  • I mean... this statement's just stupid. I'm a HUGE red sox fan, but if Dave Robert's makes that steal on July 14th, 2004, it means nothing. He made it in the ALCS, it's worth SO much more.

  • what the heck are you talking about

  • we are talking about HOCKEY not BASEBALL.

  • You said:

"So who cares if it was for a national title Bulldogs are better anyway "

First off, this statement is just stupid. If this comeback happened in the middle of the season it would not have been worth NEARLY as much, but because it was in the National Championship game, it makes it worth SO much. I was relating it to Dave Robert's steal. If he steals that bag in the middle of the season it's one win out of 162 games, because it was in game 4 of the ALCS, it was worth so much

  • YOU'RE IN SIXTH GRADE!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Not to mention you have the Gophers plastered all over your page...

  • Who gives a crap if i have gophers all over my page i can like any hockey teams i want

  • Doesn't make you any less wrong.

  • Considering the circumstances, the greatest 42 seconds of BU hockey, and I have been a BU hockey fan for 41 years! Sal S. '69

  • title town.what can u say.

  • So cool. I think Barry Melrose is a great commentator.

  • i was at that game and it was so loud in there

  • Boston had an outstanding control, playing with out the goalie for so long. No matter how hard VS is trying to pump hockey it's not the same.

  • One of the most thrilling finishes I've ever seen in a National Championship game in any sport.

ESPN should drop dumb shit like poker and women's sports, put the NHL back on, and expand college hockey coverage.

  • Hey man i totally agree with you Espn doesn't do hockey nearly enough as they should, i can't stand how much they invest into stupid stuff like that

  • amen

  • other than the 7-6 Pens Wings game this year, this was the best hockey game of the year. they need to show more college hockey on tv

  • other than???? THIS GAME BLEW THAT GAME OUT OF THE WATER!!!

  • really disappointed.... Wanted the local team, Miami to win.

Oh well there is next year.

  • What a great comeback - History Making! Did you see the Matt Gilroy figure on ebay?

  • Ive watched this like 10 times I can't get enough. Pumped for the season dvd to come out

  • I'm sorry I missed this game. I hope it's on ESPN Classic sometime.

  • Miami should have called that timeout! I was at the game and even though I was going for BU I kinda felt bad for Miami but who cares.

  • i learned how to spell CHOKE after this game. Yeah, it's spelled M-I-A-M-I of O-H-I-O

  • like I've said to so many people, saying Miami choked takes so much away from BU's top notch effort in the final minutes.

  • wow. I dont follow hockey at all but AI saw some of this game on tv. When I read in the paper what had occured, I immediately came too youtube. What an awesome finish!! Great hockey!!

  • I am a Wisconsin Badger fan and since they didn't even make the tournament...

I just wanted to see a hard hitting, fast paced, exciting championship game. And that I did see!!! That was probably the most incredible and best hockey games I have ever seen. That game was just insane!!!

  • thats amazing. i dont follow ncaa hockey, mainly NHL but damn, only one word to describe this "INCREDIBLE!".

  • I love how nuts the bench goes at 5:08. This was quite possibly the greatest game I have ever seen. What an unbelievable comeback by BU.

  • Zach Cohen was the extra attacker playing on the Bonino line during the second goal and Bonino was the extra man when he scored when the Wilson line was out there for the tying goal. Parker is a God.

  • wow, he goes down to block the shot gets hit.. and its still goes in what a Kick rite to the balls

  • this shows if bu had 7 powerplays like miamia did,the score would have been like 8 -1

  • You got it right.

  • awesomee

  • how effin ridiculous

  • Unreal.

  • And that's why Jack Parker is so well known to hockey. Yeah Terriers! :)

  • Been watching the BU program since the fall of 1994 when I was a junior in high school. I was watching this from a bar in Marquette, Michigan, home of NMU and heart of CCHA country. This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen a BU team do, and probably ever will see. When Bonino tied the game, I let out a scream that probably the entire town could hear. ;)
