Her version of this song is hypnotic and gorgeous. Even though kd has this huge, powerful voice, I love how as an artist, she instinctly knows when to show restraint. Here there is an almost hushed quality that gives way to a shimmering, beautiful sound that she carves with these lyrics. As talented vocally as she is, she has a way of letting the song come ahead of her voice. One of the great vocalists of our lifetimes.

As much as I love K D's voice and her special presentation, I have to say there is no one able to sing this song quite the way Phil Everly sang it. Looking forward to seeing K D live in Oct. I can't wait. My husband and I have loved here for years. When she sings Hallelujah, I get goose bumps every time. She is WONDERFUL. Thanks for posting.
