  • As if the pace on the record wasn't fast enough already, heh. Live adrenaline always seems to pump the tempo up.

  • Jay Sporting That Fat Wreck Shirt.

  • @zildjanzbtuser3

They are im from Detroit and see em all the time (like maybe once every two months) and they sucked from battle Hyms to war profiteering, they sold out in that time period, you can even ask Jay the singer, i've met him many times. Thank god they dropped off of hollywood records and went to side one dummy or I wouldnt have as much respect for them, They would have ended up like Reel Big Fish or No Doubt.

  • @whisker684 The self titled album was pretty terrible, but "A Match and Some Gasoline" and "Steal This Record" were pretty solid if you ask me.

  • Man would it have been nice to go to a SM show in the 90's...damn me for only being a little kid during their prime.

  • I'm so glad they're still together but I wish Dan was still with them :/ does he have any other band that he's currently in?

  • @GrahamTurismo i'm not sure if they're back together again, they playing a few shows just for fun but it's not official. I think dan still plays in the band call "the one tough moment" it's more punk rock

  • @nouefexs2 Hmm, I'lll check Dan's new band out

  • They seem to like use the word FACE in their songs

    Great band!!!!!!!

  • Why argue which album was the best? All of their albums were awesome. They had so many good songs on every album. ''No Face'', ''Someone'', ''Honor Among Thieves'', ''Ghosts on Sunset Strip'', ''High Anxiety''. I could go on and on and on and on.

  • Wow, they were actually really good.

  • uh who's the guy sitting with the white shirt headbanging

  • @alex77724 security

  • i love the way Jay spazzes out

    XD

  • Classic thanks for putting this up!

  • holy shit i was at this show!! cant believe this is on here.

  • Comment removed

  • 12 years later and they still has that voice, how?

  • @bejr0

    hell no

    suicide machines all the way

  • River Phoniex and 30ft fall that would of been a kick ass show

  • life.

  • one of my favorite ska bands.

  • Fuckin Love this band!!! Saw this same tour but in San Antonio... EPIC

  • godamn this band is epic. so long and islands in the sky are awesome songs

  • from which albums are "face another day" and "black and white world"?

  • both are on battle hymns

  • thank you!

  • Battle Hymns.

  • They are getting back together for two benifit shows in detroit happening this thursday. One at the Old Miami and one at the Trumbull plex. Trumbull is all ages, old miami is 21+. Doors at 7 and 10.

  • didnt get to go, did Royce come play bass?

  • No he's not. He lives in Spain.

  • damn i wish they were still together, they're such a good band

  • Yeah man, total tragedy how they broke up like that, right in the middle of a tour. I haven't come across any other band that blends punk and ska so perfectly.

  • ik, dude i agree

  • slapstick, but still love these guys

  • Well put StunnerAlpha. I too, have no come across any other band that blends punk and ska so perfectly. DbD is a perfect album...totally 10/10.

Anyway, Face Values has one of my favorite bass lines in any song. 0:25-0:33 - love that.

  • operation ivy

  • yeah, that's sad. when one good band breaks up, another ten shitty bands are born.

  • I know dude i agree

  • I love how dan plays those chords in the second song! two mutes and two notes, that's my favorite way to play em =D

  • What kind of guitar did Dan Lukacinsky use?!

  • It's a Rickebacker. One of my favourite guitars.

  • ah yeah rick's are sick - hah you know which model?

  • nevermind i think i found it on the site haha

  • rickenbacker their hard to find but awsome

  • no the first song is from their first album.

  • nope

face values off destruction by definition

  • No, Rancid doesn't play any The Suicide Machines's song.

  • you're an idiot. rancid sounds nothing like the suicide machines lol.

  • I just seen Hellmouth jay navarros new band at a bar with like 30 people there it was fucking awesome. Check em' out!....and by the way destruction by definition was the best cd ever by anyband EVER!

  • Yeah, Hellmouth is cool, but unfortunately it doesn't look like The Suicide Machines :(

  • dude... this past juse they were playing in a tattoo shop!!! talk about insane!!!!

  • Their basslines are killer

  • I saw them either the next day or day earlier, they had the same clothes on...

  • war profiteering? that wasn't their best album. fuck dude.

    destruction by definition forever.

  • @ninjapat Fuckn amen brother! Destruction by Definition is a fuckn classic! All the songs are great, even the minor threat cover!

  • @ninjapat there are two different albums man, DBD is more skapunk and WPIKUA is more hardcore, so you can't compare those two albums

  • @ninjapat No shit; Destruction ranks up there with OpIvy shit in my book and close to or at the top

  • probably one of the most epic things ive ever seen

  • this is a real punk concert

  • HAHAHAHA! You should see our punk concert in Czech Republic. You cant dance there specially on this type of musi it will be so annoying for me to just stand, can.t make pogo... So annying. Came to Czech Republic to see our concerts and dance pogo... Love this band so much, but for all the listeners it must be frustrating just standing... Sorry for my english.

  • hahaha i bet your concerts are awesome, your ppl are like roaches, all they do is fuck and eat, soon you'll be hundreds more LOL j/k man. still this is a great concert, and thanks for the information. Keep it punk!

  • THANKS FOR THIS !

  • 2nd best band ever, after Rancid..

Best Two albums ever: ...and out come the wolves and destruction by definition.

  • is a very good album too. the worst albums of 'em are steal this record and the suicide machines because they got pop punk there. but later they stopped it with fukkin a match and some gasoline!, another great album

  • hm... dunno.

Rancid has always been my favorite punk band. I don't know if I can say that Suicide Machine is the second band.

I think both are my favorite.

And I love all TSM songs, but the Least Best is Steal This Record.

  • this drummer is erin pittman, an old friend of mine! good guy from my school days.

  • is their drummer still derek from alkaline trio in the video?
