It's near the beginning, after the first curve to the left. Unfortunately, the Manhattan-bound train passing blocks out the entire 5 Pointz Building. Maybe someday I'll reshoot it.
I don't know when they tore down Sunnyside Gardens, but it's now a Wendy's. There also used to be a Sunnyside Theater, but that's been torn down for a Rite Aid. I guess with so much entertainment options at home, communities don't support those kind of places anymore.
From That point of view, the NYC subway looks extremely freaky, especially the single track overpass past Courthouse Sq, approaching Queenboro Plaza. I'm from Toronto, so i don't really see much if that.
Excellent video. I actually get on the 7 at Hunters' Point (where I work) at the end of the day, catch the 4:30 Express to 61 Street Woodside, my "hometown". It's kind of funny when you take the commute for granted, and yet, watching your video now, I get to appreciate my everyday route even more! Weird isn't it? Thanks for posting a great video complete with enlightening music and excellent camera work!
How fast/slow in minutes is the 7 train express ride in reverse, that is from woodside to hunters, or better yet, up to 42nd street? I'm planning to move to woodside but need a FAST commute to Manhattan. Will really appreciate a reply. Thanks in advance.
I actually live at the 46th St. stop, and it's 15 minutes to Times Square (end of the line) on the local. Woodside is only 2 stops further, so less than 20 on the local, maybe 12-15 on the express. There's also a LIRR stop at Woodside, and that's less than 10 minutes to Penn Station, but more expensive.

I have a Mac, so I imported the video into iMovie, which is a video editing program. i used it to speed up the video, and put in the music.

OMG, that building is awesome! I take the 7 to work/school everyday. It's one of the more interesting lines.

I've been doing the same thing for three years -_-
It's not cool to look at anymore, but it is interesting at times. Oh, the things that go on there.

What is the Bach tune played by Gould?
Scrumtrillescent1 4 years ago
It's part of "Overture (partita) in the French Style", BWV 831. I got it off of a double CD of the complete French Suites.
