  • does your evo make a slight whining sound when accelerating and decelerating?

  • @Streetbikechamp i think so but it wasn't as noticeable as my honda civic fd1 (r18a). have u got a video of it? could just be turbo spooling up?

  • can it be plugged into any car with OBDII???

  • @daxplil Yes but different cars have different data available through the OBDII port. Need to check GReddy website first .

  • @jacejai yea was trying to install it in my skyline r33... seems like i need the obd2 harness to plug it in the car.

  • I was thinking you had a RHD but then I realized all the cars were on the wrong side, so you flipped the video, clever.

  • @cyclist14 What do you mean? I live in Sydney Australia (RHD vehicles)... I'm just driving on a wide road with a divider in the centre (i.e. on my right).

  • @cyclist14 could you read the numbers if he flipped the video? in this countries you drive in the left lane...

  • I got the greddy, but icannot find he boost item. Is ther another item name under?

Yup, under user tcl in Evo forum

  • @egotop I'm JaCe on the EvoXforum. And you can get boost by setting your sensor item to "IN-MF PRS"

  • Boost sensor isn't required in Evo X MR as it can obtain boost data from OBDII port. Forum users have reported more accurate readings with the optional boost sensor adaptor though.

AFAIK there is no SST temperature sensor available in the OBDII port but there are numerous temperature readings available which aren't labelled which may be relevant to SST.

  • @jacejai THANKS. u in evoxForum?

  • Do u need boost sensor? Can it read sst temp? I own mr as well
