For example, there has been a massive increase in terrorist suspect arrests in the U.K. due to a new process finding possible terrorists. However, the conviction rates of terrorists in the U.K is at an all time low. If arrest rates and conviction rates were correlated, there would be an increase in conviction, but no.

I don't know what level of mat you are on but those do not add up. If all the arrests whites have been arrested 7 out of 10 then the jail population should at the least similar to that. but do to the flawed judicial system it is the opposite.

Also, people are often arrested on suspicion of a crime and then later released because they are no longer a suspect. Arrest rates really don't mean anything. I've been arrested for looking like a wanted person and then I was released hours later, yet I committed no crime. Arrest rates and conviction rates have no correlation whatsoever.

So, a large amount of arrests from a certain race should not point to a large conviction rates. If there were a large number of arrest rates with no conviction of blacks, one would assume that it was due to hostile police action against blacks. Yet we have the transverse situation. Large amounts of whites with less convictions than blacks.

For example, there has been a massive increase in terrorist suspect arrests in the U.K. due to a new process finding possible terrorists. However, the conviction rates of terrorists in the U.K is at an all time low. If arrest rates and conviction rates were correlated, there would be an increase in conviction, but no.

I don't know what level of mat you are on but those do not add up. Also, people are often arrested on suspicion of a crime and then later released because they are no longer a suspect. Arrest rates really don't mean anything. I've been arrested for looking like a wanted person and then I was released hours later, yet I committed no crime. Arrest rates and conviction rates have no correlation whatsoever.

Even if you can prove that there is a correlation between arrest rates and conviction (which there isn't sufficient evidence for) than that still doesn't prove causation. Are you saying it is a war combating poverty? Like trying to eliminate poverty? Or that it is a war against those living in poverty? Just because there is an arrest, this does not mean there will be a conviction.

So, a large amount of arrests from a certain race should not point to a large conviction rates. If there were a large number of arrest rates with no conviction of blacks, one would assume that it was due to hostile police action against blacks. Yet we have the transverse situation. Large amounts of whites with less convictions than blacks.
