I knew someone would come up with this, I started to think about it a couple of years ago! :) Now I wonder if there would be a way to make the "enter letter" key obselete. Such as if you were able to tell the phone your WPM, and you as well as the phone knew exactly what pauses to put between dits and dahs, letters, and words. Also converting the two button system to one button, effectively making it a straight key. You might have to make the whole message and then it would convert to text.
This is excellent. If an interface for a three-conductor switch could be added--it'd be a great idea for sending practice. My grandpa could use it even.

Left arrow (or 1/4/7/*) for a dot
Right arrow (or 3/6/9/#) for a dash
OK (or 2/5/8/0) for a space
I'm using Nokia 6680, and it works find for my 5 way button
