Classic game that I first played in late 1997 I think (mate bought it from Costco in Leeds) and one that has many qualities that are lacking from the modern day race games. The music in this one was pretty good too, i.e. varied and catchy and just right for the game atmosphere. I later got this for myself in 2000 and it even played perfectly on a crappy old Cyrix 166 Socket 7 PC 1998 vintage. Despite the eye candy and complex physics of todays games, I still love to play this sometimes. :-)

How did you get the sound to play? I install it but the sound has this constant 'popping', and there's no music at all.

Play the cd-rom in your car's cd player and drive it. Amazing experience :')

how did you get sound??? i had this on dosbox but i got no music :( when i had this game on my windows 95 the music was the best thing about this game

MEDIUM RIGHT!!! your an animal! :D it was the coolest game of my childhood. and I think this it the most complex game of these times, in the car racing games. I always tried to pick the best set. and I thought im a serious driver.

Used to play this game a lot as a child. Didn't remember at all that the co-driver shouted like that. Sounds so hilarious. :D

With dosbox i can open the installation menu. But when I chose a setup. I cant install it. it say "you have selected an invalid directory please selected another directory" but what directory i use I cant install it.? help me? btw nice vid

Yay this brings back memories, I only had the demo of this game from a Computer Shopper coverdisk but I still played it for hours. Yeah it was the "hard left/right" where he sounded maddest. Hmm I wonder if this game can be "acquired" from somewhere now...

Yep, it's not a bad game for it's time, the sequel is pretty good too (It's a Win32 game though not DOS). Yeah this game is awesome, I think it has a different name internationally though.
