@joiles01 No. Yet Death Valley is always a good test for cars (actually they do testdrives there). Two years later we visited Death value again and this time drove to the great dunes. On the way there were quite some sandparts on the road, which you had to hit with exactly the right speed. To slow and you get stuck, to fast and you loose your frontaxle.
But honestly... never buy a car that was preowned by a car rental
Twenty mule Team Canyon is a great loop drive in Death Valley National Park - at one time - for a period - large wagons pulled by long line teams of mules hauled borax out of there.
