I love college football, because it varies from year to year and Saturday to Saturday. The game last year doesn't matter for this year. Remember Oklahoma fans the game against BYU, and how yall were going to roll them, now granted Oklahoma didn't play BYU the previous year but that team return Sam Bradford and they beat Oklahoma. FSU is going to play Oklahoma much closer and I wouldn't be surprise if FSU beats OU.

I been a FSU fan all my life, and seen them take some ass whoopings before, but Oklahoma ended this game early. I expect this game to much closer in Tally, but FSU defense has to be more aggressive and take chances because you can't not allow Landry Jones to throw to pick our defense apart. FSU has to win this game to be consider among the elite. Oklahoma took the torch from FSU in the Orange Bowl and now it's our time to return the favor.
For what worth this was FSU's second game under m. Stoops so the db's played 10 yards off the line if not more. I doubt that will be the case this year.

Tony Jefferson, and Kenny Stills,so if they are talented enough they will contribute and the team that you beat last year is not the same as this year, we are a year deeper into a new system, with an increase in depth and talent at almost every position. We understand OU has perimeter speed, but they do lack depth and size along the defensive front 7

@kore5747 I predict fsu to go 12-2 this year and be national title contenders next year but still be in the hunt this year...OU has depth along the front 7 but questionable size with the defensive ends and linebackers...EJ has a stronger arm than Ponder and can still make all the necessary throws...Ponder was just more experienced and could run Jimbo's o to a tee..and as far as pressure goes EJ is a much better and bigger scrambler than Ponder

I was at this game, in the South End Zone. Great game indeed. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I found the FSU fans to be really classy; both before and after the game.
next years game should be one of the ages. either teams will be national title contenders depending on this game. fsus defense improved vastly as the year went on and the running backs group should be the best in the country. plus last year fsus starting safety wasnt in until the 4th quarter in this game. but oklahoma should be really good too next year. ill be at the game.

@Soonerthanl8ter We may have replaced our QB but not only is EJ Manuel EXPERIENCED but he has TWO bowl victories under his belt, including the MVP as a freshman of the 2009 Gator Bowl. I doubt you have 'the best wr's as a WHOLE in the country' either. Our OL/DL will be vastly improved from last season not to mention bigger and more athletic with depth. Our defense is going to be head and shoulders above how we looked last year and our LB's will be more athletic with depth.

@MrGatorHater9 Greg Reid has a history of talking too much. I went to high school with him and even since high school, people have complained about his chatter and rightfully so. It's tough with me being born in Oklahoma and being an OU fan, then moving to Lowndes County, GA and going to Lowndes High alongside Greg Reid and wanting him succeed as a player, then him acting a fool and playing against OU at that.

@soccer22champ It was the second game of the year in a BRAND NEW defensive scheme. About half way through the year they understood it much better. Our corners will shut your passing down in 2011.

I'm saying I don't care how much your defense has improved, OU putting up 300+ yards against the best secondary in the country gives me more reason than not to believe that they'll still be able to throw against FSU next year. Maybe not as much as last year but will still be able to get the job done, especially with the receiver corpse OU has this year.

@kore5747 Recruiting matters, if I'm not mistaken, Oklahoma played plenty of young players in that game and during the season ex. Tony Jefferson, and Kenny Stills,so if they are talented enough they will contribute and the team that you beat last year is not the same as this year, we are a year deeper into a new system, with an increase in depth and talent at almost every position. We understand OU has perimeter speed, but they do lack depth and size along the defensive front 7

I give this FSu team about 1-2 years before they are seriously in the hunt. For the record OU has plenty of depth and size along the front 7. All my sooners have to do is put pressure on EJ and the game is over, he can't throw to save his life. There is a reason Ponder won the job.

@kore5747 I predict fsu to go 12-2 this year and be national title contenders next year but still be in the hunt this year...OU has depth along the front 7 but questionable size with the defensive ends and linebackers...EJ has a stronger arm than Ponder and can still make all the necessary throws...Ponder was just more experienced and could run Jimbo's o to a tee..and as far as pressure goes EJ is a much better and bigger scrambler than Ponder

next years game should be one of the ages. either teams will be national title contenders depending on this game. fsus defense improved vastly as the year went on and the running backs group should be the best in the country. plus last year fsus starting safety wasnt in until the 4th quarter in this game. but oklahoma should be really good too next year. ill be at the game.

@Soonerthanl8ter We may have replaced our QB but not only is EJ Manuel EXPERIENCED but he has TWO bowl victories under his belt, including the MVP as a freshman of the 2009 Gator Bowl. I doubt you have 'the best wr's as a WHOLE in the country' either. Our OL/DL will be vastly improved from last season not to mention bigger and more athletic with depth. Our defense is going to be head and shoulders above how we looked last year and our LB's will be more athletic with depth.

I was at this game sitting right under the south TV. I yelled so much for our defense that I lost my voice at half time. But I have to thank the crowd for showing up and making it loud for the defense. THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD BE EVERY GAME OU FANS! YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR NOT GETTING LOUD AND HELPING YOUR TEAM!! If you can't scream or yell, clap or bring a noise maker! But what a great freaking game. And all because the crowd gave OU a 12th man!

When I was watching this game, OU and FSU scored on opening drives, I was like "Ok, well I know how this game is going to be". Thinking it was going to be a shootout, and eventually come down to who has the ball last. But my god! I didn't know OU was going to do this?
OU is going to play them next year anyway so, good luck the rest of the season FSU, at least yall actually scheduled OU in Norman, unlike these other mythical false champions (Florida, Alabama, LSU) don't.

Have been going to OU games for 25+ years. Sit 4 rows up in Section 6. I have heard alot of things come out of players mouth. But, never in those 25 years, have I ever heard a player be a bigger piece of trash, than Greg Reid. #5 for Florida State. 1. we have aloooot more depth at every position (excluding O line)
2. our defense will be vastly improved (more plays will be taught, better understanding of zone ect)
3. we will be able to pass the ball now that our receivers arent running wrong routes
4.our starting safety will be in the game
5. it wont be at oklahoma, and everyone knows you guys arent great on the road
6. annnnnd our QB wont be injured
