i dyed my hair once blue, and it wahsed off with one wash but then i dyed it purple and it faded to pink and didn go away for a week, is that normal?

actually, you dont need super light hair... i have deep brown hair and i dyed a little bit red with food coloring and it turned out really pretty so yeah...

@xXchbidinoXx actually if you want it last longer you pour it in a bowl and add vinegar to it, like for easter eggs :) I did it before and it lasted about 3 weeks, one of my other friends did it and it lasted two months..... I guess it depends, but vinegar's a good trick ;)
