Hey there, nice build! That's quite something, getting two gti-6 engines in there. I was put off doing a gti-6 conversion as so many people have told me there are issues with getting clearance for the sump, how did you tackle this? I've ended up playing with my gti engine, but after 2grande i will have only hit the 160 bhp mark, what i would have if i did the engine conversion :(

@budgio there are loads of sites with info, saxperience is pretty usefull, the clearance isn't really an issue on this car because of the size of the wheels and the fact most suspension parts have been modified from the gti6 or custom fabricated to suit

@rtab69 Cheers, i'll maybe look into it a little more for future, as i do want to keep the car for a while, but that engine won't last the years! To be honest i was on saxp, but after about a month i got fed up of of wee guys with big heads, thinking they new it all, there was a guaranteed argument in every thread! Im a member on 106owners, but as i stated the general view is it is too much hassle, sump being main issue. Though i have seen it done before, just not 2 engines! Dont sell this!

dont knock the french motors m8, i know a guy had a r5 gt turbo twin engine that pwnd all the top cars, yes porsche,ferarri,lambo etc and that was in max power too so cant dispute. French cars are fast and handle pretty dam good too, ok build quality could be better but thats the only downfall. My r21 turbo had evo's,scooby n cosy's for breakfast back in the day. FRENCH OWN.

getting each engine to run at the same speed is the easy part once they are set to the same idle speed the slack simply needs taking up on both cables so that they pick up the revs together. as for the linkages, pug performance i believe were responsible for those, basically just both connected to the same gear lever but still needs fine tuning, in my opinion would work better using cables but it does the job!

hi, the bumpers in the beginning of the video are custom made, i have them still in my garage, the rest of the kit is all custom made to fit the car so unless you fancy buying the car you will need to find someone willing to fabricate it for you. pug performance might be of use to you?

there is one engine running the front wheels and one for the rear, both controlled via single controls same as a standard car. as far as power being doubled i'm not too sure how that works really but i'm expecting it to go well considering the power to weight ratio!

the rear lights are smoked jewels and quite common now.

Well done mate on buying this did see it on eBay a while back, effort on getting it sorted, but why use 1.1 side strips it ruins the lines of the car get the vtr side strips which are more round and look alot smarter.
