If you get enough Skill Points (Battle Masteries in the english OG games) and get to the last stage with less than so many turns, Irui will appear at some point during the final battle with Keisar Ephes.

It also unbalances the battle greatly in your favor. By that point not only have you got a crazy army but the Nashim Gan Eden (this unit) joins. And for reference she was the final boss of the previous game. And she keeps her stats completely intact.
