I don't mind the show. I've seen a few episodes and it's pretty good for a kid's show. I could watch it if there was nothing else on and be somewhat entertained, but I would never actively go out of my way to watch it.

There is absolutely no reason the show should stand out, and it is an absolutely mundane cartoon by all stretches of the imagination. I watch a lot of TV shows, anime, movies, and so on and so forth. But MLP:FIM is the number one show on my list. It is in fact the only show that I wanted to see the full season again 3 times! It just makes me happy:)
Well, I'd actually say that FiM is, at least, in my top ten favorite animated shows of all time. And that's saying a lot, considering how Looney Toons, Ed Edd n Eddy, Futurama, the Simpsons, and Pinkie and the Brain are up there as well.

i think the whole split between Celestia and Luna was mainly caused by the way celestia defeated Luna in the first place imprisoning her in the moon for a thousand years there are a lot of people out there that think Luna just wanted more attention and celestia just sent her to the moon so there is were i think the split happened
Personally I like the show more than the community. Even though they come up with some amazing fanart. I don't consider myself a brony, but according to the Internet I am, just for the mere fact I watch and enjoy the show.

Most bronies watch the show because they enjoy it in an entirely un-ironic sense. The fan-made material is secondary, but still very important and often hilarious. I love the fan-made music, episode remixes and redubs and a lot of the comics had me laughing more than the show.
But I would insist that the show is not just 'OK' to most bronies. It has enough quality and charm to stand up on its own, and the community was built around that nucleus of cartoon magic.
I started as an observer of the bronies... and now I'm a full-on brony. If you want to stay neutral, you'll have to keep a hold on yourself. Good luck.
Despite the size of this series and how huge and popular it has become, it's just another internet fad, and they come forth in their prime, and will always die or just simmer down slowly, and it will always happen regardless, they may still linger in the future but Bronies and Ponies will fall in due time, by much more than 20%.
You can clearly see it with other cartoons and anime that have lived and fallen.
Now this is coming from a Brony through and through, but this is the honest truth.
DasBoShcitt used a couple of voice clips from FiM that /I/ didn't even notice (and I later only noticed one of) in Gmod idiot box and a few days later I see on his blog that he got slammed with the brony label.
He then drew the line and refused the label and said he also refused the gamer label.
When it comes right down to it most bronies do accept the label, but you really don't have to.
@mattwo7 some bronies really do take it too far with the labeling thing, i noticed the voice clip too when i first watched the video but it was nothing much to say that he was a converted brony (though i have to wonder why he would use spikes "no" with the scout as opposed to using something like darth vaders "no" to avoid the brony slam, theres a ton to choose from)

Well, I'd actually say that FiM is, at least, in my top ten favorite animated shows of all time. And that's saying a lot, considering how Looney Toons, Ed Edd n Eddy, Futurama, the Simpsons, and Pinkie and the Brain are up there as well.

Disagreed. I love the show, not a big fan of fanfiction and I guess fanart is sort of OK, but the fandom isn't nearly as good as the actual show.

i think the whole split between Celestia and Luna was mainly caused by the way celestia defeated Luna in the first place imprisoning her in the moon for a thousand years there are a lot of people out there that think Luna just wanted more attention and celestia just sent her to the moon so there is were i think the split happened

Personally I like the show more than the community. Even though they come up with some amazing fanart. I don't consider myself a brony, but according to the Internet I am, just for the mere fact I watch and enjoy the show.

Most bronies watch the show because they enjoy it in an entirely un-ironic sense. The fan-made material is secondary, but still very important and often hilarious. I love the fan-made music, episode remixes and redubs and a lot of the comics had me laughing more than the show.
But I would insist that the show is not just 'OK' to most bronies. It has enough quality and charm to stand up on its own, and the community was built around that nucleus of cartoon magic.

Despite the size of this series and how huge and popular it has become, it's just another internet fad, and they come forth in their prime, and will always die or just simmer down slowly, and it will always happen regardless, they may still linger in the future but Bronies and Ponies will fall in due time, by much more than 20%.
You can clearly see it with other cartoons and anime that have lived and fallen.
Now this is coming from a Brony through and through, but this is the honest truth.

DasBoShcitt used a couple of voice clips from FiM that /I/ didn't even notice (and I later only noticed one of) in Gmod idiot box and a few days later I see on his blog that he got slammed with the brony label.
He then drew the line and refused the label and said he also refused the gamer label.
When it comes right down to it most bronies do accept the label, but you really don't have to.
Whatever anyone else thinks YOU ARE NOT A LABEL.
Now where's my label gun?

@mattwo7 some bronies really do take it too far with the labeling thing, i noticed the voice clip too when i first watched the video but it was nothing much to say that he was a converted brony (though i have to wonder why he would use spikes "no" with the scout as opposed to using something like darth vaders "no" to avoid the brony slam, theres a ton to choose from)

i dont understand where you get that most bronies think the show is just "ok"
in actuality, most of us think this is a great show. its good, wholesome entertainment. theres an absolute metric FUCK TON of quality put into the show, the dialogue, the voice acting, well composed music, fantastic animation, and the plots are well structured (nothing too complex mind you), and the morals are well put together and not shoved down your throat.
plus the creators are really good to the fans.
