@beasona9 Ok the rs4 and M5 are bothv8's. They are in the same price bracket new. The rs4 has 25 more hp than the M5 in stock form, So the M5 has exhaust and gave him 29 extra hp what an extra 3hp over the Rs4 big deal. Did you see where the compared race the Audi started in front with the M5 about 3 cars behind and the Audi seamed to have had the jump, and the M5 walked right up to the Audi+.

The Rs6 you say No problem M5 + ESS :) psi = psi ;)

Why do you guys get so bent out of shape when a modded car is faster than a stock car? It's not like the guys in the M5 tried to hide the fact that they're modified. If they claimed to be stock only to find out later that it was secretly modded then maybe it's a cause for flaming. Otherwise, what you just saw was a modded E39 M5 beat a stock B7 RS4. So...deal.

When will you race apples with apples? V10 vs V10. RS6 vs M5. Audi isn't even "aiming" the RS4 at the M5, it is squarely aimed at the M3. I am not a Bimmer fan, nor a Audi fan, but a car fan. At least race 2 cars in the same class. A 507hp, 5.0L v10 vs a 400hp 4.2 liter v8 isn't even close. No replacement for displacement. Yes the RS6 has FI but people still want to see it. Sheeese.

yea why dont you bimmer fags start comparing apples to apples and race the m3 with the rs4. the rs4 is a part of the a4 class, equivalent to the 3series of bmw. the bimmers have to jump up a class to give the rs4 some competition, and still the new 2008 rs4 would take any m5 down, any day of the week.
