Excellent note and comments, but indeed, what are we really doing about this issue? Something that's exciting? Something that's interesting? Something that's cool?... I love green, blue...rainbow colors of Our Mother Earth.

Who would ever make homes out of trees considdering its the year 2010. There are so many other options and people should have the right to choose their own materials. 90 % of people can make their own homes and they would 5,000 not 180,000.

Please say hello to Magaly from Rebecca if you are still in contact with her! I was a volunteer on an expedition to Lago Preto last year. Magaly was one of the biologists with the group and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Am determined to learn Spanish and go back!
