  • There's something soothing about driving through the desert. I also love the drive from Mammoth back down to OC.

  • Nice video; more fucking hideous music.

  • Dam I've never been to Cali before but this is a nice drive

  • @MrCloudmane

You should go there very nice state.

I'm Thai and just had a first time in US spent on Monterey-Gilroy-San Francisco-Half Moon Bay-Las Vegas and Los Angeles what a memorable trip it sucked that i'm sick

most of the time there, maybe i can't seem to getting used to the climate there fast enough while its in summer in Thailand.

  • To see more of the the preserve; get off I-15N at Nipton Rd. Make a right on Ivanpaw Rd, another right on Morning Star Rd and basically take it 30 miles down to I-40. Stunning scenery is to be seen

  • Good shooting Tex! That looks like a scary place. Don't know if my RAV and I would or could make it out there. I noticed that Freeway Brent says that it can get congested.

  • UGH!! THAT ASSHOLE AT 5:34

  • Great vid! But I noticed you do some MAJOR weaving back and forth!!! lol

  • @tall32guy and look at the other cars in front of him there also weaving back and forth the Mojave Desert is a very windy place!!!

  • Been waiting for a recent ride through this area, great job as always!

  • Beautiful job! Awesome scenery!

  • SPEED LIMIT 70! HOLY SHIT THE I-15 IN CALIFORNIA WOULD'VE BEEN THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A CAR PURSUIT

  • oFTo ZZYZX LOL

  • I wonder if there are people who live Barstow that have to commute to Las Vegas for work. If so that must be a drive from hell.

Are you planning on doing a vid of I-10 or I-40 through the CA desert?

  • @jfs1988

That would be an awful long daily commute. 151 miles to be exact. You would be better off commuting to Victorville- Hesperia- Apple Valley or even San Bernardino coming from Barstow.

  • At Mountain Pass is an open pit rare earth mine that contains one of the world's largest and richest deposits of rare earth minerals. They're ramping up production at this mine. The mine is to the right in the video on the Mountain Pass summit.

  • AWESOME LIKE ALWAYS DUDE

  • zzyzx road

  • This is magnificent scenery that cannot be seen in Japan. Thank you.

  • this is by far one of the hardest drives(mentally)you will ever encounter(especially if Vegas robbed you of your money)...But on the other hand it's not that bad of a drive home if ya made out good..I would also say I-80 I-10 I-40 I-70 or i-8 which all cross that same type of landscape are scenic routes but just as mentally draining....It's crazy how 80mph feels slow when you traverse that region....Nice vid

  • Another great video! Very scenic!

  • Nice work with the technical aspects of the video and and a super ride! loved the scenery, thumbs up!

  • @Freewayjim thanks boss.

  • @Freewayjim thought i try something a little different here.

  • Did you get stuck at Yermo on the way back?

  • @HoltCalifornia i did not run into any back ups on i-15 in san bernardino county . i san into 1 minor issue in san diego recording tho , but i can fix that .

  • Favoriting this video. I-15 thru the Mojave is not a stretch of freeway that I particularly look forward to, but that's usually because I only drive it on either Friday's or Sunday's, when sections of it become a sea of brake lights, often adding an extra 1 hour of drive time between Barstow and Las Vegas. However, the sections featured in this video are definitely the most interesting. Great work, and I'm going to have to download this track, too.

  • @FreewayBrent Damn , that is highly appreciated. and its obvious i love your scenic state.. thanks for watching

  • Holy crap look at this road it's endless. This is breath taking for me because we do not have highways like that in Slovenia. I only don't like that you skipped that incredible road but still i like it :-). I wonder how long is that video in real time? I would like to have that video in real time. Thumbs up for this.

  • @prulcan the eintire section of i-15 in the preserve can br traversed in about 1 hour . video includes footage of about 3--40 mins of it . normal time on the section where it was speeded up would be about a 15 min video alone.

  • @prulcan i think the salt lake flats hold the title in america for the most open flat stretch . it is roughtly 45 miles ro so on the westside of salt lake city, UT

  • Great video! I hope that soon i can drive this roads too. the u.s. looks intresting but i think the speed limit would annoy me a bit ;) ^^

  • @Dinschful the speed limits in the SW are adjusted accordingly , most sections feature atleast 70 - 80 mph

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 yes, but I am accustomed to the autobahn, so at least 95 mph and sometimes even 160 mph..

  • Oh Master!!!... The wait has been worth it ; that ride totally rocked! :) Awesome work!!! Love the track that you chose to go with the sights and sounds of Mojade Desert. Very fitting...

  • @CAMINOANDALUZ lol, i like the nickname you have given me .. anyways thanks for watching boss.

  • Great video. Enjoyed the ride.

  • @georgiaroadgeek thanks MR GA.

  • a preserve area with an interstate highway going thourgh? Mindfuck ... :D

  • @Mutu1026 According to a map. the 15 only traverses a smaller protion of it which is around 2:00 - 2:25 . the rest of the Mojave Frwy is just outside.

  • @Mutu1026 ; I-15 existed long before the Mojave National Preserve was created.

  • thnx!

  • @alxgr752 thank you.

  • Good Job!

  • @Polschinski thank you

  • 1080p on this video is having issues from this upload for some reason ., if the problem is not fixed by tonight i might perhaps reupload the video. 720p is fine. enjoy the video everyone.

  • Nice video! I love Zzyzx Road!

  • @FreewayTitan there is a road in NM on I-10 and its name is ' Dick Rd'

  • wow, those are some stunning views :O wish we had views like that here in the netherlands. hell, i wish we would even have intersections like you have, for instance , in Dallas. Anyway, nice vedeo again, and the music sounds good too. If i could give it 5 stars i would, but since we can't, thumbs up for the video :)

  • @MrM0007 thanks , i appreciate your support, glad you enjoyed the video.

  • Great video! There is quite some traffic on an Interstate like this, so far from civilization. It's all long-distance traffic.

  • @aswchris monday morning , everyone headed back to los angeles after a weekend gambling trip to vegas

  • @aswchris: Oh man, you should see what I-15 is like on a Friday or Sunday. Not uncommon to see long lines of brake lights on some sections between Greater Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
