im getting this game in a few days. cant wait. i've been wanting to play this fight for the longest time.

this is the first time i'm playing this game, and i'm stuck at this boss battle, Luke is at 52, the rest are at lvl51, my most used chars are Luke, Tear, Guy and Jade, any advice on taking them out?

@riveraluciano In case you haven't made it past them yet .. I'd say kill Arietta first, constant Negative Gate is pretty annoying. Then it is up to you wether you want Largo (who annoys with his huge scythe) or Regret (with her magic and bullets) to die ..

No, they changed her name for the English version, it's Regret in the Japanese version, I have no idea what made them change it to Legretta.

@Jeffrey6978 really late, but, she is actually named after "allegretto" (a musical term)

@MattMcRed Yeah, I guess that makes sense, riguretto, the Japanese pronunciation of Regret, sounds quite similar to allegretto, so I guess what they were going for was a play off of allegretto.

And, I guess since in English Regret and allegretto don't sound as similar, they came up with Legretta which kind of sounds like allegretto.

I've noticed Largo's Shikou Raigasen (紫光雷牙閃）is basically a lightning version of Van's Radiant Dragon or 光竜槍

Jade is the best video game character ever created! He's a comic relief, has powerful and awesome attacks(both strike and fonic artes), and is an extreme asset to the story, as well having hos own great story behind himself. All hail Jade the Necromancer! And the rest are okay too, I guess...

I love this game.I like the Japanese voice actors for some characters too .I've played both Japanese and English Versions....please dont ask me why XDXDXDAbyss has to be the best Tales though, in my book!

Yeah, TotA is a great game, and one of my favorites in the series, I love to storyline and characters, plus the awesome voice actors.

I've never played the English version myself, but I've seen some videos, the new extras look cool, I wish Namco would eventually release a new Japanese version with them.

However, I like the Destiny games and Rebirth more, especially ToDR/DC, which has my favorite battle system of all time (AR-LMBS), and favorite story/characters (Rutee and Lion FTW!).

I agree with liking Rebirth and Destiny are both great, but Jade and Guy are probably my favorite characters in the Tales series. I like a lot more though! Like Reid!XDXDXD

They changed a little bit in the English version, like you have to play Nebilim on Very Hard or Unknown to get Luke's "Tactical Leader" title, so you have to play it on your 2nd playthrough...kinda sucked, but hey I dont mind playing it again XD

oh wow...doing this battle on unknown mode is just suicide...i had to try at least 20 times before i finally won, and then i tried 20 more times because i wanted my whole party to get experience...natalia was the only one who wouldn't cooperate with me...ughh...

He has swallow fury. If this is a first-playthrough fight, he's at least levle 53.

I forgot it shows at the end of the video what I leveled up to, Luke was level 54, Natalia, Anise, Guy, and Jade were Level 53, and Tear didn't level up, but I think she was 54 or 55.
