  • I would have though that R. Kelly could have handled this but DAMN! B. McKnight got this on LOCK. Too Smooth!

  • Marvin would be proud, RIP Marvin Gaye

  • THIS MAN CAN SING YOU RIGHT OUT OF A DEPRESSION.....VOCALS ARE BEAUTIFUL...HE DID THE LATE GREAT MR. MARVIN GATE CORRECT...

  • Johnnie gill done it better. Brian done his thang tho much props.

  • MMMMMMMMMM gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SMDH, people sleep on this dude....execellent vocals!!! He did Mr. Gaye proud on this joint.

  • my favortie singer of all times

  • While not officially a cover, I've always felt that Brian's "Find Myself in You" could have been an unreleased track on Marvin Gaye's "I Want You" album. You don't get caught up in comparing them because obviously Marvin never sang it, but Brian's obvious respect for Marvin comes through even more clearly in his own song.

  • This man deserves a mother fuckin grammy!!

  • Oh I could not agree more...This is indeed an incredible tune. The passion in his voice gives me chills up my back. Brian Mcknight did indeed do Mr.Gayes song justice. Lets hear it!!!

  • He can sing anythng! Very Nice!

  • hes sooooo handsome

  • from the album tribute...marvin is 60 .... great album full of covers erykan baduh geralt levert montell jordan el debarge joe zhane kenny latimore d' angelo etc.. i played this record a few millions times!

  • Respect dude - for keeping the man alive..... I think Marvin will be smiling in heaven

  • I'm in love with this version too, but Marvin tore it up!!!

  • Brian! Awesome Awesome job bro. Love it.

  • Beautiful song:-)

  • My God, this is off the chain.

  • Almost feels like this shoulda been Brian's song.

  • Thank you Brian. Too many people try to sing Marvins songs and just ruin it. Thanks for bringing back his memory in such a beautiful way. I love how you sing.

  • Love this version. Been listening to this for years- from some Quincy Jones CD.

  • Something that I hate is when a singer 'tries' to emulate the beautiful genus of Marvin Gaye's delicious voice, but Brian McKnight I take my hat off to you ~ lovely done~ Love You Marvin, RIP

  • who ever doesn't like this song is a motherfuckin HATER(excuse my french)

  • Vocally ..Brian is TODAYs Marvin Gaye plain and simple.

  • One of the best covers EVER !!

  • This is what I'm talking about...Sing from the soul, straight without alot of unless vocal runs, like the original version but with the McKnight touch.

  • Wow, great way to pay respects to an icon. Kudos... to Brian for having done this...

  • Just Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOVE this song!!!

  • keeping marvin alive thanks B sounds great !!

  • Never grows old.

  • sorry, no!

that thing died with the black messiahs!

    where's the real emotion?

    one dimensional, trite, and weak!

as the greatest musician to EVER walk this land once said, "if you haven't lived it, it won't come out of your horn".

brian has NOT lived this song!

  • @iconoclasticism you are so right, that's usually why artist who cover someone elses songs pale by comparsion, Only one person who can sing this, and that is Marvin.

  • He did an AMAZING job on this song........I listen to it over and over. I would say him and Joe are neck and neck for the best R&B voice.

  • he's the only one that could have even attempted to record this song!

  • This is beautiful!

  • Didn't know he redid this song...I love it!!!!

  • Not bad Brian. However some songs should be left to the people that originally mastered them. I've heard people try to come behind Sam Cooke's " A change gone Come" and straight butchered it. Not because they lacked talent , but because it just was'nt their song.

  • What album is this on

  • @juliaann48 I believe it features on the 'Marvin is 60' album which is a tribute album to Marvin Gaye. Hope that helps!

  • I love both Brian and Marvin. This is a good cover, I like how Brian didn't try to make it different just for the sake of making it different.

  • Man I had the Marvin is 60 album. One of my favorites on that album. Shit that whole album was crazy!!!

  • During my divorce and while subsequently finding my new love I played this great cover by McKnight, like 2 weeks straight.. My God, it still does something to me........

  • when this soundtrack 1st came out, i played this song on repeat for days... dude is ridiculous!!!! r.i.p. Marvin

  • B. McKnight did say his influences were Marvin Gaye and Michael McDonald. You can definitely hear the Marvin in him. They are almost like father and son the way Brian flows falsetto.

  • "Delishes" song.........Thanks Havok214....

  • Ive Heard Loads Of Covers By Present Artists Of The Old Legends..And This Is The Best Ive Ever Heard!

    B McKnights On Point!

  • Makes me despise 'modern' music even more listening to this. This is real music, so beautiful, everything Brian Mcknight does. Seems anything can pass as music these days. Indie :@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@ I hate it with passion.

  • Classic Brian Awesome Falsetto!!!!!!! This Is Good Music!!! Once Again An underrated Artist Who Always Seems To Amaze Me!!! Brian thanks for this earful of soul!!! Mmmm Mmmm Goood!!!!

  • I'm so in love with Brian McKnight's version of this song!!!!!

  • Any video in Brian voice, its be perfect!!
