Homemade CO2 bomb

I made one of these and forgot I already put the black powder and and put it on my desk to drill a fuse hole and while drilling it got to hot and blew up in my face now I'm missing a finger and am blind in one eye

i use metal sparklers as a fuse that way you have more time to run and black power for a muzzleloader.

the more pressure inside the canister at one time, the bigger boom, and if done right, it will destroy the whole canister. just remember, wear eye-protection! and expose as little of urself to the blast as possible. hide behind a door if u wanna look at it. just be safe, and use enough fuse!!!! basically, dont be retarted!

no. what you need, is some cannon fuse, so you dont get hurt first off. use enough so u can run behind shit, as it will spray shards of metal if u do it right. shotgun shells will not work. they contain a powder called "unique". u need black powder, pyrodex, or cleanshot. but black powder is the best. it can be purchased at gander mountain, ace hardware, cabellas, ect. Co2 canister, get FFFFg powder too. the smaller grain powder, the faster it burns. you want it to burn fast to create pressure

thats not how ur make a real co2 bomb the reak way isnt filling it with powders and wat not thar not as loud the real way is leaving the co2 as it is and then gettin bout 15 sparklers layt em out put co2 in middle of em then wrap it in foil so the co2 is in the middle 'fuse it the sparklers heat it up so that the co2 inside exapnds and blows up its much louder trust me

nah not with the co2 canisters i have. theres a thin layer of metal and it bursts out there. If you fill the canister with flash powder it will be louder than a m-80

You need to wrap them in alfoil with cracked plain sparklers and add a lighter to it, it's much more impressive that way.

Check out the three video's on this account and you will see what i mean, some of them, however, do not have the lighter in it and is purely impact bomb without the fire.

worked pretty good, but one word of caution...

these are very powerful for what they are. i made on (in hopes that it would be more of a rocket) and had to get 8 stitches in my leg. i was lucky it only hit there, cause it could have killed me. if u insist on playing with these, might i suggest using an electric detonator (used for model rockets) alot safer cause u pick when it blows up and can be a safe distance away. next time, try drilling a hole in the tree and plugging it

A less explosive alternive:

You will need:

Keyboard Cleaner

A Waterbottle (Kirkland works best)

Take the keyboard cleaner turn it upsidedown and spray into the bottle for about 30 seconds then quickly put the cap on and shake (Or hold lighter under the bottle but it might blow up in your hand!) then either throw bottle into a fire, unscrew cap or shoot with BB/Pellet gun (fire works best.

Use cannon fuse it will give you longer running time and i suggest that you only fill with about half the powder and you still get the same results :) good luck

You can also make a lethal water bottle CO2 bomb by dumpin dry ice into the water and sealin the cap. You may need to tighten the cap a lot if you want to splatter everything with shrapnel, or loosen the cap for a gun.

ok for those of you who arent sure,its really easy.if u have a used c02 canister use that.but if its full one, tighten it in a vise.hammer a nail in the top and let the c02 out.if u need powder use model rocket engines.u tear the paper from around the engine,then youll find the black powder.bore the hole out on the canister and funnel in crushed powder.clamp it shut with fuse inside.thats it

I had to make a video about a fort, so My friend and i ended the vid with the cardboard prop blowing up. it was a frig box cut in half with a bunch of smaller pringles cans and shit on it, we soaked it in gas, filled one of the boxes an inch or so deep (like 2x2 ft across) made a gas trail, when the flame hit it it jumped four feet. We'll do another sometime and post it.

Because all that does is cause the liquid co2 to expand until it bursts the case which is already weakened by the heat. With black powder or pyrodex inside an empty one, the pressure spike is way faster and way higher. More pressure=bigger boom, bigger shockwave and more shrapnel.

yes they give off some shrapnel. The farther you are away the less likely you are to get hit. I would try to get behing a barrier.

I have never tried to fill them with sparkler powder but it might be interesting.

You can get co2 canisters at most sporting goods stores and paintball stores. The small ones are normally used in bb gun pistols and cheap paintball guns.

I just use the small canisters like you use in a CO2 BB gun. I am planning on using a much larger 20 Oz paintball gun tank (as soon as i get brave enough). I will be sure to post it if I do. Oh, be careful with these, shrapnel will fly so be sure you have an adequate length fuse and a safe place to take cover.
