  • I'm not a dancer but I know the sensation you speak of. Lengthening the spine, and in particular the lower spine so the sacrum pushes the illium away from the center of the body is key. Ones hips work correctly then. Ones legs really are released. Ones glutes are removed from the equation. A free and easier walk is maintained.
