Of course that is her real voice. All one has to do is watch carefully and you can see by her breathing and timing that she is SINGING. And what an incredible voice!! I'm just going to sit here and enjoy this little girl's marvelous talent :)

Jackie has a really beautiful voice, i think she sings this song better then any other artists that i heard, she's naturally talented & i know she's not lip syncing, i don't know why some people are picking on her they're jealous. I have her CD & i can't stop listening to it, the more i listen the more i like it, in fact i like all her songs on the CD. most artist i listen & will only like a few songs.

I remember being your age, and everybody telling me what to sing, and I felt horrible about myself, so I'm not going to tell you what to sing. But as I watch your videos I notice something that I've been working on with my voice coach; You need to bring the sound forward. I guess the best way to explain it is breathe through your nose like you're smelling a rose. Or lift up in your sinuses. It's really hard to TELL you without SHOWING you. Good Job, and Good Luck!

i'm so jealous! i didn't get that good until i was 12! keep up the good work! but don't overdo it, and don't make the same mistake i made by performing in gigantic concerts at a young agetake time to enjoy being a kid while it lasts! but seriously in about ten years you should audition for west side story; it totally works on you. but don't feel pressured.

"Pear shaped tones" - I also hope you are still a little girl and don't train for hours without enjoying your youth. However, it seems that there is some playful enjoyment in demonstrating your powers to enchant. Having a naturally good voice is a miracle, enjoying it is up to you.

I hope I'm not getting this wrong but I believe Jackie is trying out this one because it's more "chest voice" than "head voice" that she's more accustomed to. And I think she demonstrates her ability quite well, Just listen to the big deep voice she sings with and compare that with her ending "Thank you". Quite a difference. Dear usemed4. I was interested by this observation:

I noticed that from the beginning of her videos. It is because she does not sing "mechanically". Just before she starts she is "switching" in to a different "mode" for want of a better word, she is connecting with a "higher" or "inner" aspect of Jackie - a truly Divine aspect, which is why she sings like an Angel.

Gosh, her voice does seem to be maturing and I think she did a pretty good job singing in character, esp. for as you say "just trying". I wish I could do anything so well even when not "just trying". 5 stars of course, well deserved, he, he, the end was so sweet when she was done but the music wasn't. :)

If I didn't know better, I could believe that you were lip-syncing because it just doesn't seem like an 8 year old should be able to sing like you do.

And I just listened to this song again with my eyes shut and even though I know you are just 8 years old, it's hard to believe an 8 year old sang it.

Yes Ashley - I definitely agree. She struggled through this - even the less challenging parts. I don't know if it was b/c she was just not in the mood, tired, or what? She slips back and forth between proper technique and bad habits. Maybe by the time she reaches 1 year of lessons, she have that more under control.
