Actually it does :) Many times over aswell. Check out a video debate here on youtube betwean Dr Zaker Naik and Dr Campbell. Dr Campbell who wrote a book on the subject coulnd't explain why the bible depicted the world as flat, that the earth and the flora were created before the sun and so on. If you do, maybe you can pick up where he left and explain those things.

Scientists have observed the earth's movement by examining the position of reference points and many other things. The earth moves around the sun. End of story.
