Manufacturing jobs require people to consume more of the planets resources. More manufactured product requires people to go into more debt. More debt means we must borrow from other countries. Borrowing from other countries means our children will have to pay it back.

Obama wants us to lead the world in solar, wind, and biothermal before other countries get the jump on us. Some already have. And I love jab about global warming. Doesn't he know that global warming is causing the ice caps to melt hence the oceans are rising and cooling? It has little to do with weather. It's about overall climate change.

Again, I'm discussing creating jobs in an EMERGENCY situatuon. We had to think of some kind of jobs in a hurry. So instead of using the money for something stupid like professional pizza eating contest judges, we decided to invest in a few companies that showed some promise in LED lighting, wind turbines, and other exportable technologies. Thats how the expansion is supposed to occur. It's common for countries to go more than 100% of their GDP in debt on occasion until growth resumes. I really don't think we'll see an Austrian style economy here any time soon. Both parties are big spenders. It's just a matter of who gets the money.

This may sound unrealistic and improbable but what if there were a group of "white knights" working to expose the thievery and fradulent practices that investment banks and politicians have been engaging in together.A new system would allow banks 0 leverage and fractional reserve banking would be a thing of the past. You are missing the entire point. The goal of an economy is not to create jobs, it is to increase our standard of living and allow us to have better lives. Jobs are a side effect. As technology advances, it doesn't mean there will be less jobs, it means there will be better jobs. Because we have more resources to use on better jobs, since the lower level jobs aren't necessary anymore.

9 year old kids make half of the cheap consumer goods american "consumers" buy.
Our problem isnt limited to welfare or entitlements we also have corporate welfare, high taxes, government regulation , cronyism etc.

It should continue to be legal for corporate tycoons to keep shipping jobs overseas, no matter what the overall economic cost for the other 90% of United States citizens.
It is immoral to regulate any corporate ideas that make CEO's, Executives, and share-holders richer. Nobody can rightfully question whether there's socio-economic disparity when the top tax bracket to the lowest tax bracket is 532:1.
It is common sense that the top 1% should make 532 times the average lazy and poor worker.

Use the skills you have acquired over the years and create your own job.
The people that have trade skills will be the ones working in the future.
Technology is slowly eliminating jobs and some day we will have 50 percent less than we do now.
Just sit back and think about how many other jobs you could eliminate today using the technology to its potential.

The constitution says we have to conduct a census every ten years...it also says the government can only use gold and silver coins for money...a clear example of what's wrong in America. It took 170 years until Kennedy's debase, 15 years till Nixon completely violated the constitution, and 10 years for the consequences to start negatively effecting the economy with corrupt S & L's. Although an argument can be made that the parasite class began chewing on the fiat supply in the late 70's.

Yeah, to fix the economy, we need to give the rich tax cuts and raise taxes on the middle class. We also need to privatize every market that exists. You should have to pay for your military, police, and even education!!
Recent history has proven that unregulated free enterprise works best! There should continue to be no transparent derivatives, legal credit default swaps, and continue to allow the investor and commercial banks to merge.

Look at all the cow hides why can't we begin making leather items again. Take shoes, we use to have Naturalizer shoe company but now they too are made elsewhere. Lets have this factories again here in the US for example and see shoes with labels Made in USA. Americans need to build again, we have the minerals and trees, etc. Laws need to change.

Capitalism raises the standard of living for all. Mass production of cars, for instance, doesn't benefit the rich (except for owners/investors), at least not as much as the middle class and workers. They now have cars. With the price system in a free market, it doesn't matter what they are paid because the cars have to be sold at a price they can afford.

Caught a story on Bloomberg a couple of days ago. The Fed has been telling the banks to run "stress tests", to see how they would fare "if" the funds rate were to be "rapidly and significantly" raised. The tests were to be run if rates were rapidly raised 0.3-0.5 percent and in another scenario - 4-5.0 percent (400-500 basis points). Hang on.

China is not a free market, but we can be. The Chinese government won't set upper limits to wages, and why would they? The Chinese workers are willing to work for low wages because the cost of living is very low and $3 per day is a lot there.
China is more capitalist than you might think. Private companies are allowed to do business over there.

then why isnt everyone getting paid min wage now then? if the law is what determines wage why isnt eveyone getting paid min? min wage is a law that stops young people from entering the work force, because it stops people with no skills from working which is how they develop skills and experience. if you are a 14 year old kid and you want to begin to learn a trade the law makes it illegal for you to start as a helper or something for a plumbing company for $4hr, why make that illegal?

Because all the plumbers would hire kids at 2 dollars an hour. And that would be the end of it. No plumber would ever pay a dime extra if he could find kid to work for 2 bucks. Now the kid will pay tax on his 2 bucks (big deal) , the plumber will continue to hide as much income as he can (they do that, offer one cash and get a discount). You and I will pay what is lost in taxes. Stoping the min wage law is a BS point that Beck and Rush use to stir the mindless masses up.

What has wal-mart done for me? Nothing, but for my american friends they have provided cheap products.
The minimum wage keeps wages up by keeping low skilled workers unemployed and preventing the youth from getting their first foot on the rung(e.g. working as a gas station attendant while apprenticing as a mechanic).
