No wonder 1 in 5 teens in America suffer from hearing loss. Everyone is either listening to crummy rap "music" at above 170 decibels or playing monotone drum styles with constantly LOUD fills and constantly LOUD crashes. A good musician should be able to experiment with notes AND volume control. Put some sensitivity in your art form and get the tribal mindset that everything is a speed/loudness contest out of your eggshell brains already.

And I for some reason.. probably hitting it too hard, my snare skin has actually been punctured into a deep hole and now sounds like shit, any advice or tips for this happening? Also, how do I make my toms soun better?
