  • @FACIFUCINATEN57 he isnt a fucking engineer, hes literraly one of the smartest men alive atm, its like four sentences of his in the song anyway so gtfo it.

  • HAS. OUR PEOPLE. OF. THIS. WORLD STOPPED TALKING OR. ARE. THEY JUST. STARTING

  • @PROBOXILO Yup that's Stephen Hawking witch make him the coolest physics professor in history.

  • is stephen hawking the intro voice?

  • My kids were born in the 80s an pink Floyd was part of their life an they still listen to it an so do my 4 granbabies

  • I believe that The Division bell is a brilliant album no matter what anyone says.

  • i thought i'd give a listen to Wiz "Scumbag" Khalifa's song where he dares to sample Floyd and I have made a decision I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

Who let that happen??? It's like he spit in the face of god.

  • Wiz kalifa can eat a dick cuz I'm sure even if he sampled it. He didn't do it justice cuz, he dosn't hav the talent that Floyd does. This song legendary, wiz is a flickering flame in a sea of pinkfloyd

  • 2 people stopped talking

  • IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS,ALL WE NEED TO DO,THAT MAKE SURE TO LISTEN TO PINK FLOYD

  • 1:12 STEPHEN HAWKING WAS IN PINK FLOYD??

  • @shrek740 He did this one spoken word part.

  • 1994 in rock music

The destroyer of all good music, JB is born

  • en los tiempos mas oscuros...pink floyd

  • wiz khalifa sampled from this lol

  • Stephen Hawking, bitches.

  • they are from another planet!!!!!!!!!!!

  • December 2011: It is amazing to listen to Pink Floyd with our small kids with a fresh and clear perspective of what is music about and who made it. Our music appreciation class cannot get any betther. So many genders, yet we keep the good and trash the senseless sounds. As for this song: it is a keeper.

  • the pictures in this vid have no words to describe them

  • this is real true

  • it's not only music, it's a style of life! FUCKING BEAUTIFUL FEELINGS!!

  • Comment removed

  • Roger Waters could write amazing lyrics, the rest of Pink Floyd could write beautiful music. It's too bad the group split apart.

  • We were at the Division bell concert in 1996. Loved it then, love it now.xxx.me.

    Thanks for upload.

  • I wish this song were like five hours longer. It takes one away, truly.

  • 0:30 to 0:50 changed me life

  • this would be perfect at the beginning of any spy movie known to man

  • ..going back to the '90s, I'll be forward later

  • me calma mi anciedad

  • "All we need to do is keep talking" Kinda ironic coming from a guy who cant talk lol

  • richard wright plays all synthesizers & keyboards for floyd as well as sings.......he was absent from the "Momentary lapse of reason album due to health problems but rejoined floyd for this project....it was their last recording 1994.......

  • people who dislike pink floyd can massage my penis with their tongue

  • God I was born in the wrong musical era. I hate this pig squeal shit. This is reall music wright here. Sunnygirl3907 I'm the same way

  • @stilocean This comes from an understanding of MELODIC structure and HARMONY, and could never be matched by the one chord - monotone - rap 'n'crap bullshit of today.

  • @stilocean Lady Caca who ?

  • @stilocean pink floyd will become popular again someday..and no one will remember all this other bullshit "music"

  • @shrek740

Yes man, just like the Doors have made a resurgence in my opinion. All these Floyd box sets will grab peoples attention.

  • this song speaks volumes

  • wiz did a cover to this song <3

  • @jrizzzle93 it wasnt a cover, he sampled this beat

  • Yes this is more like it I only have to listen to it for 10 secs ad it is in my head for a whole day.

  • I ♥ U sunnygirl3907.

  • This song is classic Gilmour....the amazing thing about it is that it could have fit onto the Momentary Lapse of Reason album just as well.....that firey guitar lead is just amazing. Floyd is the greatest......good reason not to watch American Idol!

  • Synthesized voice of Steven Hawkins

  • MISS U BABE!

  • The synthesizer effects are SO INSANE in this song. That part that starts at 2:28 is SO SOO fucken awesome. No one else I have ever heard makes music that sounds that genuinely beautiful. They were and still are simply THE BEST, MOST INSANE, GENUINELY BEAUTIFUL SOUNDING BAND EVER. I wonder how long that will stay the case. Id be weird if it lasted til the end of history

  • @Ac1DGoD I do not doubt for a minute there will never be anyone else like Pink Floyd. They are beyond music; they are pure emotion.

  • @amfanmagician yea they are. like 80% of their stuff is just so whip ass, if it weren't for "fiddler on the roof" id say more like 90% but there are songs that have come out from some others that I have heard. But the thing with all the other bands I have heard is that when they do something good, it's here and there and not most of their songs. But on my top 10 song list with these guys was the original "Heavyweight" by infected mushroom. Has such awesome sounding productization done to it.

  • @Ac1DGoD Very good chance it will be the end of history.. I've never heard a band with so much creativity as Pink Floyd. Very good comment btw!

  • @CloverRockerZ28 yea oh my GOODDD the way some of their stuff sounds; this song (middle & end song), Time (middle song- especially that part) the machine (end 3 min), Dogs (in 2 dif areas) Pigs (beginning 1;30 and mid end song) yet another movie (beginning 1:30 and and mid song), Marooned, Terminal Frost, Meddle, Sorrow, Empty spaces, Vira, On the run, Echos is a mindfuck, 12 min into Shine on your crazy diamond (part V-the 17 min version), sheep (voice changing into synth & shit im out of room

  • @Ac1DGoD its all David Gilmore..lol..i play guitar to this alot! for years..got it figured out..so listen to his solo stuff and guess what..its just like this!...guitar wise and lyrics..this is great Jam to Jam along with! i mean the synth you say, i mimic that on guitar even...so i aint sure its synth man,as i have that down on guitar!...just sayin...lol..

  • @ltuomela its both. Although now a days you can do a lot more with both but back then I think it was 1 or the other and that neither could do both the effects. There's guitar all through the main coarse but the awesome weird SFX that really make the song good (especially during the last 2.5 min are synth. You could prob do those on guitar now a days but bak then I think it's about 60% synth, 40% guitar that make the greatness of their songs. For me anyways

  • @Ac1DGoD ohh yea dont get me wrong ..you are right!..and yea i was just saying i can do this with my guitar and do..but i think David did the synth on this and Richard wright that passed was not in on this LP..im not sure on that one..i know he did that show in at live 8 with them in 05"..so i aint sure if its all David but i wanna say it is..as Richard was like done..and David had to really talk him into being on one of his solo LP's..fact almost forced him..lol..

  • @Ac1DGoD it is pure genius this song no matter what!..man i love this song..sure wish i could write like this, but least i can play it..ahaha..and it touches one..thats the key it hits your soul man..wow ..great LP here..

  • @Ac1DGoD my senior year in high school ashland, ky 1999 i tripped 2 hits of paper acid for the first time ever and my boy Cumpston (RIP) had this basement all decked in pink floyd shit and made me sit in that basement him me and another dude while we all ate acid and tripp[ed our asses off to this song!

  • @1980kyboy O man that sounds like that was an awesome time! Of all the paper I ever had (which is probably about 80 squares worth),the best would always be every time even when from different sources who don't know each other would be the 1/4" X 1/4" perforated "white on white" paper squares with no graphics on em.

  • @Ac1DGoD think thats weird listen to the song marooned on division bell.

  • @MrBadacidradio OH I LOVE THAT SONG, Im actually going to do that, for I have not heard it in a seasons time= pass. It & Terminal Frost = right now after I stop my fingers from casting my thoughts to the collective thought bank of humanity. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • @Ac1DGoD No problem man whats up wit shroomies?

  • Comment removed

  • @Ac1DGoD Speaking of the 2:28 part, I feel it even erotic. It always did me that effect ! Very few others than Pink Floyd can insert such strong feelings in music alone...

  • @auroreboreale odd ball

  • @RobbieTyler1 ;-) I am serious: I believe that other directors would have put a love scene in an alternate video, as "they love each other but don't talk"... By the way, the intro gives me similar feelings: they're in the bed at morning, he looks at her, she sleeps and awakes, and still they don't talk...

  • @auroreboreale

i agree with the 1st part.. the call and response from male to female makes you think that

  • @Johnakalazyj The begining states the evolution from animal to man(past). The song background is the routine installed in the couple (present). At the end, Hawking gives the solution: keep talking (future?). What a clever man this Stephen Hawking, physic scientist and even marriage therapist ! ;-)

By the way, it's a nice music and a well constructed story.

  • There are two types of people in this world, people that like Division Bell, and those who despise it. I have heard it said that you are not a true Pink Floyd fan if you like this album, but why listen to people who are dead inside?

  • @tomreid2011 Amen to this. TDB certainly isn't my favorite Floyd album, but I love it regardless. This song is easily one of my favorites, along with Wearing The Inside Out and High Hopes. :3

  • God, finally I've found you!

  • hail pink floyd

    hail david gilmour

  • Greatest Band ever, enough said. Them and Led Zepplin

  • Greatest Band ever, enough said.

  • rat pellets
