  • Corey had the cue ball from the rail! His bridge hand was on the rail! But u have a good stroke ! No homo!

  • this is the Cory Dueal shot ...

  • would you like to play

  • I will admit its a nice clean hit/stroke. but i wouldnt call it a "megadraw"

  • 1st of all ya thats a great shot and yes you can hit the ball very well. And 2nd of all corey showed me that shot and your hittin it 100% right BUT the cue ball was a little farther back then what he did in the video. But ya you do have a great stroke ill give you that lol

  • the way corey did it, he didn't use running english. He used straight draw, with such a stroke that it took after it stunned off the right rail. Plus he did it on a 9 foot professional table. But the way it's done in the video will do the trick too. he still got shape

  • pretty good. i try to do these shots with a open bridge but i can never get as much power through.

  • thats really good....i remember when i learned that stoke haha.....u just stroke it with a lot of bottome right so when it draws and hits the rail the right carries it off of the rail back toward you....nice shooting

  • It's not so much pure draw. It's more a stun shot with draw, which becomes running english when it contacts the rail. It's more the stun and running english against the rail that brings the ball down table.

  • corey deuel ^^

  • not really that impressive considering those pockets are huge and the strokes were that great either..my home room has tables with pockets less than 4 in, and i see shots lke this regularly....boring!

  • The second and fourth strokes were great if you were just seeing how much action you could get (as opposed to just trying to get the shape).

  • still no corey deuel...lol...but nice draw

  • put the cueball inside the corner diamonds and shoot the shot off the rail. No sense not going all the way. Also watch Corey carefully. He moves his body into the shot. Not recommended for most players. He also said that he stroked the cueball at 5:30 in a Billiards Digest 'Stoke of Genius' interview.

  • Great shots!!,con esto le pateaste el trasero a Corey D...jajaja!

  • welll..... em .. i think ... is a beautyfull pool table¡¡...... an about your shot , well done but please do not try to sai that you did it as well as Corey.., you can compare it and thats all.

  • Nice shots, but these are spin shots, not draw shots :) with exception of the last shot you missed which was a pure draw shot (maybe it had a bit of left on it causing you to miss the shot to the left)

A draw shot will not come off the rail at a significantly different angle - a spin shot will. Notice the extreme angle changes when the cue ball hits the side rail - that almost always indicates spin on the cue ball.

Looks as though you can follow this ball much easier, tho ;)

  • Dont listen to lukaz1989 he is a complete idiot. This is a good shot to know and its far from worthless. Lukaz I bet I can give you the 6 ball.

  • your draw shots had lower right english on it. which makes it different from the one corey did. which was purely a draw shot with tonnes of of backspin only.

  • i dont see where u say he hits right on thats just a plain draw shot its the angle of the shot that makes it curve like that

  • Nice shooting, man! Even so, not quite Corey's shot! First of all he's easily a foot further away, closer to the cushion. Secondly, the cloth there is so new, the cue ball actually slides all the way to the side rail (on the object ball's natural tangent line), hitting it behind the second diamond, BEFORE the friction of the draw takes at all. That's what makes it look so special. You can actually hear how close he comes to miscueing, but his stroke's so smooth as to prevent that from happening.

  • Corey Duel rip off

  • why the hell has brunswick never thought to counter sink those damn score counters? They are a pain in the ass.

  • Nice draw stroke, but you should try it the way Carey did and bridge the shot from the top of the rail where his hand was at. Now THAT is precision and skill.

  • nice work man

  • nice shirt do they make that for mens

  • mens ?

  • ok, so you can make something similar to deuel's draw shot, only his shot was on a tight-pocket professional table, playing in the us open against another phenomenal professional who could, at any time, run multiple racks and leave anyone in the world in their chair for awhile. add to that the pressure of the tv cameras and the possibility of a huge payday, and i highly doubt you could make this same shot 1 time out of 20.

yeah, i'm a cynic. get over it. not impressed.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I do not recall the poster of this video trying to gain any recognition whatsoever off of this. I also don't recall any type of description saying "this is my attempt at corey deuel's shot and i nailed it!" or anything of the kind. You're not a cynic, you're just an asshole behind his keyboard trying to trash other people. Good day to you.

  • see, whats really sad is you're trying to stand up for him, and goddamn, to the best of my knowledge the ONLY reason anyone would post something so very similar to deuel's "electric draw" on youtube would be to gain some sort of recognition.buy a helmet, retard.

  • I'm not standing up for anybody, I just said that I don't recall him bragging on it.

It seems as if you're assuming here. You're assuming "to the best of your knowledge" that he's trying to gain recognition. I don't know if he is or not, but it doesn't look like anything has been said in that regard. Maybe he just posted a video of a tough draw shot.

  • if you are trying to copy corey's shot, he had the cue ball alot closer to the rail, alot more harder then the shot you are doing, but never the less nice shots.

  • Agreed. The level of difficulty of your shot is nothing compared too Deuel's shot.

  • i also agree...and there is a difference between a practice situation at your own table at home if you do the shot a hundred times and a tournement shot at the US-OPEN in an imporant rack in front of a lot of people spontaniously with ONE TRY ONLY.. ;)

i mean dont get me wrong your shots still kick ass but compared to duels shot wich you're obviously trying to copy its basically worthless.

    still nice..hf bro

  • are u trying to replicate corey's shot against mika in the US-OPEN ?

  • oooww wow special guy .. u have to play that shot like 4 times in a match whats so speical abotu it now

  • Your stroke isn't very good, on the last stroke you never pause before firing, im sure this takes away from your accuracy...

  • by fire im guessing you mean shoot...and yes he did pause.

  • and there are also different types of stroke..you'll never see a pool player pause be4 shooting..in my opinion you lose accuracy

  • even seen pros playing?

    youre wrong.

  • yea allison fisher and buddy hall never paused in their backstroke. How do people post shit like this when you have no idea what your talking about.

  • haha nice fluke at the end XD

  • i would like to see you try and run out from there. talk about a fresh burn mark

  • why would you bother posting this? noone is here to start a fight, just to speak about the shot in question. go back to your cave you useless british fuck

  • Nicely controlled shot. Corey had the cueball closer to the cushion though, makes it a bit harder. I'm convinced you could play that aswell :)

  • I thought Corey deuel had more angle than that? The way this is he's only drawing it to the side rail and the right english is spinning it down table. I don't think Corey used much right spin. He just had alot of angle, the speed forced it to the side rail, and then the draw took after hit the rail

  • He probably had more angle, yes. If you move the cueball closer to the bottomcushion you get a larger angle automatically. The shot was suposedly played using only backspin.

  • yea, the shot in the video has less angle, so he had to put right on it to force it to the rail. oh well, good try I suppose

  • a draw perhaps, but a megadraw is a slight over exaggeration, follow through with your cue more, if u want the desired spin

  • actully he did get the desired spin. If u scoll down the related videos and click on the corey deuel run out you' ll see what he was trying to do.

  • corey deuel vs mika immoen

    9-ball. good shot!

  • THIS GUY IS A NOOB! come on, its a easy shot!...

  • who said it was a hard shot...

  • Very nice man.

  • nice ;)

  • Wat type of cue have you got .... NiCe StRoKiNg .... PS Start making so run out and breaking videos .... Love to watch them .... YIASOU RE

  • nice stroke, check out my power draw, i draw the cue ball almost 2 table lengths! and im only 11

  • Good job...but you really should sell that Mottey to Shorty cheap ;)

  • lol, it's not on the market yet, but you're the first one on the list when it goes ;)

  • Good stroke, nice table, but you should upgrade your lights.

  • Beautiful stroke.
