@marinesoul1009 When you are placing the aircraft there is a menu to the left that says 'in formation' open it and click on "flying." This makes it spawn in the air.

If you want to try realistic Gameplay with teamwork and communications and so on. Try BF2 Project Reality, a mod. Or Arma 2: Project reality.

this game looks good, the graphics looks kinda old and the sky also looks kinda fake AND where the hell is the enemies??? on the other hand it really feels like a real war with the scope of things and the realistic sounds and the explosions look wicked. BUT I'll stick with BF3 its the original b4 COD and ARMA. This still looks like a very good game though

@ChuckTyme It's because he has created the scenario in the mission editor, so the only way to see it play out to the end is to stay alive so he is just being an observer of his own work. A unique component of this game since the OFP Cold War Crisis and Resistance days.

HOwever i would recommend the HD 6870, which is the same price however performs better, and also in crossfire performs better than the 470gtx SLI and sometimes the 480gtx SLI. Furthermore the 6870 is less power hungry than the 460gtx.

@miro995 Oblivion is nothing compared to ARMA2 as it is a 225km^2 map being processed all at once as opposed to Oblivion where it is loaded in little sections, load screens every 1km or so would be impractical as a Ka-52 would be able to engage you from 7000m away with it's VIKHR, not to mention you would get a load screen every 4.5seconds when flying at 800km/hr in an SU34.
