It's sad that RENT is closing, yes, but I'm sure there will be a revival in 10 years or so...it sucks that we have to wait, but I'm sure the tours will continue...I mean, look at CATS!!! It's been around forever! As for Idina, she did an amazing job. She sounded phenomenal (as always) and she looked beautiful! I looove her hair. She looked a little sad though...it looks like at 3:49 she's wiping away tears...maybe it's just me. I wish they had given her a bigger time slot though...

perhaps. I think your best bet is to see it once more before june first though. rent has lasted a good long time, and personally i was rooting for it to outrun cats in the "longest musical competition" but alas, it is not so. If you haven't noticed, they've been trying to get popularity to pick up for about 2 years, and there's not much left to do D:

same producers as the new show In the Heights and that is basically the same story but latino version. plus it isn't making money. look at the weekly grosses the week after the strike and you will see everything being compared to $0 and rent was the lowest.
