  • Who's here from The Cinema Snob?

  • Saw an episode of this over the Thanksgiving weekend on cable in a San Diego motel room. Great cast!

  • Wow, 16 ACTORS in the opening credtis. Has to be a record.

  • Kelly Harmon was once married to John DeLorean. Her brother was starring in a much more famous show on NBC at this time.

  • got to admit this intro music is pretty good for a series that has a short life...(heard this from Brad and Jerrid)

  • You can watch the pilot episode. Just google Bay City Blues and you'll see the link to it right there. It's on dailymotion.

  • @meee223 kisses thank you

  • I watched every episode that aired from this show....loved it.. But it was gone after maybe half a dozen episodes?: Too bad.

  • @meee223 Only four episodes aired on NBC. Affiliates had the option to air the other four on their own time and some did in late, late slots.

  • This show had a few babes on it.

  • What about "Jack Slade"..........Im gonna git you sucka!!!

  • This theme has found new life for the internet series Brad and Jarred.

Also, Sharon Stone is all like "WTF am I doing here?"

  • wow, just by hearing this opening theme i feel the urge to change the channel...

    Okay now where's that remote?

  • @ceramiclion I:[

  • Bernie Casey also played U.N. Jefferson in the "Revenge of the Nerds" movies.

  • Michael Nouri ( Flash Dance) , Sharon Stone(Never Knew she did a television show and also "Sliver" and "Basic Instinct), Dennis Franz(NYPD Blue , one of the Die Hard Movies), Ken Olin( used to be a director of a slew of The West Wing Epsiodes), Mykel T. Williamson ( Bubba from "Forrest Gump") also what was Bernie Casey famous for and what other shows/projects has he been in?

  • @Fieldsfangirl28 Don't forget Michelle Greene (L.A. Law).

  • @bigbilly2006 oooh i am sorry i didn't know Ms Greene went on to be on LA Law thanks for the reminder

  • @Fieldsfangirl28 Sharon Stone was also in a particularly bad two-part episode of Magnum P.I., where she had a dual role as a beautiful, yet troubled young woman and her evil twin. Magnum falls in love with the beautiful one. Actually, I can't remember if she played an evil twin or if she played the same woman with split personalities. It was pretty bad.

  • @Fieldsfangirl28 Before he got into acting, Casey was a pretty good tight end/flanker with the 49ers (six years) and Rams (two years).

  • @Fieldsfangirl28 Actually, Ken Olin is most renowned for starring in "Thirtysomething", and Bernie Casey played Blacula in the 70s. Also, Dennis Franz made his bones in Bochco's "Hill Street Blues". Personally, I recall Nouri best in the 1979 NBC series "Cliffhangers".

  • @chewybunz Nouri is best known to the younger generation as Dr. Neil Roberts (Summer's dad) from The O.C.

  • @DNSKansas Hmm...never watched "The OC" myself. Just remembered that Nouri also played Glenn Close's hubby on "Damages".

  • There was a scene featuring Dennis Franz teaching Perry Lang aka Frenchy the art of throwing a spitball. I'd love to see it again as it was a classic..

  • Never seen it but,Damn, Bochco uses a lot of the same crew.

  • what's interesting is that this show was on a solid five years before the movie Bull Durham which really set the minor baseball world on fire .. and, yes, another masterpiece by Post !

  • This show was gone almost as soon as it appeared. Mike Post said in an interview that this is one of his favorite themes he ever wrote and he was very disappointed that the show vanished so quickly, and so the theme music did too.

  • Wow! They had many stars in this. I really do not remeber this show. Did it stay on long?

  • No,it bombed out. Bochco's only real dud.

  • @HUSKY57887 You're forgetting COP ROCK. (But I can't blame you. Bochco's tried to forget that one himself! LOL)

  • Wow thanks for posting. Any chance you could post an entire episode?

  • Sharon Stone, wow, I never noticed.

The only thing I rememebr about this show was a guy throwing up in his baseball mit. Soon the show just vanished :(

  • According to Jon Burlingame's invaluable book on TV music, both Bochco and Post love this theme.

  • I have never seen this series but heard of it... Steven Bochco's shows always have great theme music of course by the great Mike Post!

Thank you for sharing... It was a surprise to see one or two now very famous faces...
