btw. is that the normal speed when responding in winter? Cause it seems a kind of slow in the vid; just know from some ride-alongs in Norway (very icy and much snow) that we went at the same speed as in summer, about 60 to 80kph or bit more

@EnjoyFirefighting but u have to yake into acount the fact it was probaly below 15 degreesF and in my area when its icy its ussully about 30 so its very slik but when it is below 15 or so u have alot more traction, i maybe wrong but iam just speeking from my exprince

@volff130 is very different: At the coast it is about 30 to 35 F in winter, while it could be about -4 or even -22 F in the inland

Damn your Q is a beast! That thing is the most distance effective siren there is, it demands you move even when its far behind you!

The quicker high low sirens are better for intersections though.

I absolutely hate electric sirens! With the technology in new cars today blocking out noise, The Q has a louder DB rating which will get into cars and an electric one will not, so stick with the Q!
