FYI .....The song was first written and recorded on an album by the great Oscar Brown Jnr. Al Wilson came many years later and produced a virtual carbon copy of the original. For a truly unique interpretation you need to check out the Liverpool Five's one on You Tube.It has a touch of the coasters and plays up the phallic connotations of the lyrics.It also was many years prior to Al Wilson and Johnny Rivers picking up the tune.
