  • Anybody knows the song that is playing in the background? is quite funky and cool, and yes, the acting og the show is amazing!

  • As they run out of money, they started killing off every chacter that would not work for next to nothin

  • Elias was one of the best characters in the show, such a pity he was pointlessly killed off for no real reason in the tv series..

  • Elias died later on in the series when he was vaporized by one of the lizard lazer guns.

  • Although he over did it, the Doc's little brother is the best actor in the whole series.

  • all this talk about food is making me hungry, prepare to die and be eaten human, lol

  • this guy is such a douche stereotypical black dude trying to blame his problems on white people when really they are all of his making

  • @Killenwolf and they ruin a good plot by trying to have black people in it. they should just make a movie about the hood.

  • @x11115 What world are you living in?

  • @lillygmail when did elias die in the series?

    i dont remember that?

i do remember he owned a bar or something that was front for the resistance.

  • @lillygmail "the black man"?

  • @frunced so How I have to say? el Hombre negro?.

  • Eventually, Elias is killed in the weekly series of 1985, let's hope it will be uploaded sometime. There was something wrong about that weekly series, with characters being taken out of the series in various strange ways. Too bad Tyler left it (though he wasn't killed).

  • @expanding no doubt they were written out. I wonder why? contract disputes? or something else? I didn't like that either. I hated that Robert Maxwell "died" in the second episode of the 84-85 v the series via the "irresistable force meeting the immovable object" - LOL: the mother ship and the particle beam "Triax" collision. I liked his character so much!

  • this part made me cry

  • same here... almost...

    so wonderfully acted wow

  • That fool be Jive talkin!

  • "Six bucks for a dozen clucks"

I imagine if this happened in our world it would turn out exactly the same. The majority of people would be unaware and just let it happen, while a minority of "nutters" would fight back.

  • try talking about the new world order and you'll exactly get that reaction.

  • @TheLoonwolf Yeah, they'd be too busy listening to Fox News

  • I think Elias is one of the resistance ppl who made it alive till the final episode...not sure though.

  • you didnt watch the tv series did you

  • I'd say I watched and remember 80% of the entire show. I don't remember if he ever died but I can't remember if he ever was in the final episode. I know Willy was for instance, Mike, Julie, Diana, Robin and Elizabeth, but Elias....somebody help me.

  • MUST BE THE EGG'S !?

  • this scene was brilliantlly acted,

it made me cry too ....

  • Richard Lawson (the dying brother) was on All My Children. Michael Wright (Elias)was in the Five Heartbeats.

  • and Sugar Hill

    Michael Wright

  • lol...why was he acting like he was all "cracked up"...lol...

  • this scene was sad.

I mean sad in the sense that the acting was was so poor it was sad.

  • i thing a certain young brother is maybe a little hepped up on the goofballs

  • Does anybody knows the name and band that plays the background music to this scene? I love it, sounds really funky and 70s (despite the fact that V was made in the early 80s). If somebody knows, PLEASE tell me.

  • This scene made me cry. This makes me want to call my dad and tell him, okay I'll do things your way. :(

  • That was a sad scene. he almost made me cry. At first he didn't want to believe his brother was dieing and then...

  • I did go to you for help brother

  • That was a painful way for Elias to grow a little older.

  • soo true

  • @chickensandwich77 Death has a way of making people mature.

  • @chickensandwich77 Death has a way of making people mature.

  • the guy in the yellow was also in HBO's oz

  • damn!blacks always die frist!

  • So true!

The black guy always dies first.

But not before he is shown to be righteous in a cheezy way.

racial stereotypes were rife in them days.

in the early scenes of the show there was a scene that started with a window being broken, viewed from the inside of a house.

I knew right away that the hand that came through and opened the window was gonna be black.

    Typical.

I am white but I shake my head at the ignorance and almost feel embarrassed at the way black people are portrayed.

  • Racial stereotypes are still rife now. Hello didn't you see during the election of Barack Obama, no media or news channel DARED to run a negative report on him for fear of being dubbed "racist". LMAO

  • Wow. I must ahve imagined all those negative reports I did see from the media. Right wing paranoia.

  • boo hoo so someone said he's a Muslim. Yawn. That's hardly a "negative report". The media refused to carry any of it because none of the major news networks wanted the charge of "racist" on their heads.

  • Elias is black and he didnot die so get it right

  • He died in the series later dude, he was vaporized by a super lazer that they were planning on using against the resistance.

  • watch the tv show he gets vaporized

  • yeaH.. i think he was a strong person for that..

  • too bad we didnt get a mermorial for it but I did like how Ham become the swiss cheese he was talking about when Charles got to him

  • i wonder when thats going to happen

  • What do you know about the human condition? He is built to survive and thrive in his environment, the same one in which YOU would be the bottom feeder. Its unfortunate that you think you are in the position to call anyone an idiot, when its clear you have zero grasp of human nature. Do you think this same type of man would exist had he developed with the same interactions you had? How would you have developed under his assumed environment?

    Blind arrogance...you're a fuc*ing fool.

  • Exactly! I'm white, but I know exactly what your getting at. You got to do what you can do survive.

  • Faye Grant is wonderful - a fantastic actress & a beautiful woman

No the great actor is playin his brother.

  • One of the sadder moments of the miniseries.

  • The dude in the Yellow was in "Borther form another (planet or galaxy)

  • Gotta love that background music...hahaha Im glad the 80s are ancient history.

  • Says the guy who loves the Jeff Healy band LOL

    Big hair!!!!

  • Faye Grant is wonderful - a fantastic actress & a beautiful woman!

  • Absolutely! Bcak in 1994 when V was shown on Pakistan's TV, I was stunned by her personality and acting skills. She looks like a Greek goddess.

  • I wish I could see more of her work - although Omen IV wasn't a great film she totally shone in it.

  • I wish Omen IV were available here but it's not. However, I saw her in another movie, a thriller called Traces of Red and she was as gorgeous as ever. In V, I was stunned by her performance in the scene when she is having Diana on gun point and Diana possesses her telepathecally.

  • good acting

  • where do u see denzel washington??

  • Hey Lionel Ritchie plz hold on All night long plz

Denzel washington seems so confident you´re gonna make it
