i saw this movie last night, its absolutly amazing. best movie i've seen in a long time. i reccomend it to everyone. although it has some scenes that children probably shouldn't watch.

I agree with Lavina94122. The movie is based on a true story on invents that involved Asian men.I feel that the movie cast should of been mostly Asian. However, the cast is not mostly Asian it is white. Therefor to me,this movie is a fake and I don't not plan to watch it.

have you seen the documentary on it? "micky" is a guy called Mr. M and "ben" is really a russian kid and "jill" is a white chick. the book is based on semi asian chicks, but the REAL MIT TEAM isn't. watch Breaking Vegas on youtube, its the documentary on it.

There were many MIT teams. The team that was in "Bringing Down The House" {the book the movie 21 was based on} was the story of ONE MIT team that was made up of ALL Asian Americans.

The one in the documentary was another MIT team. 21 was based on "Bringing Down The House" which was a story about an Asian American MIT team; it was not based on the team featured in the documentary. :]

It's true that it was originally a group of Asian people. They were initially going to have the whole crew white with possibly an Asian female, but it's good that they added Aaron Yoo to the group (he played Choi in the movie).

Still, I think you're missing out. It's a really great movie, putting the ethnicity issue aside. Maybe Hollywood will make more rational decisions concerning this in the future. I def. recommend the movie though. It was pretty awesome. ^_^

This movie should have been cast with honesty by using Asian people since it is about 4 Asian people. Terrible such backwards thinking and actions continues in 2008.

Maybe in the future things will change and Asian people will be given more respect. It's possible.
