and me he was the greatest! and them awful teeth ha! i loved him he was my favourite , he was an ex-fighter in the raf in war i think. irish manchester rip dick amen.
American 'comedy' is so lame compared to the British version! Dick Emery, Benny Hill, these guys are classics. There are practically no American comics today of any worth, none at all.
My Dad had a Hillman Avenger just like that one at 0:47 before he ruined it and sanded the orange paint off and tried to paint it in red.
It was an N reg and we had it from 79 until late 83 when it was scrapped. Had those black vinyl seats that baked in the summer heat....Just thought I'd mention it.
Yeah. England in the 70's. The bobbies are still on the beat only now they beat you with everything from batons to tear gas. If you are really lucky you can get tazered or, if it's your lucky day, shot for carrying a chair leg. Oh how times change.
pure classic comedy, does anyone remember the scene where he was with a bunch of crooks, and he was the look out and runs back into the room they're planning and says "it's the filth!" that was the best line I still crack up thinking about it!

All those god awful "alternative" comedians can only dream of being this funny. All they can do is be offensive. Long live Dick Emery !!
Thanks for posting these glorious videos

Really enjoyed Dick Emery live on the Clacton pier when I was a lad.

A succession of feeble governments let scum through the port of Dover (and elsewhere).
Identity and sovernty lost daily.

Esher High Street in Surrey, those were the days. Lots of filming in this area back in the day.
